Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu dari kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh warga negara yang merupakan suatu subjek ideal untuk mengembangkan pola pikir anak di usia dini, usia di pendidikan dasar, pendidikan lanjutan tingkat pertama, pendidikan menengah, maupun bagi mereka yang sudah berada di bangku kuliah. Model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari proses belajar serta menunjang dalam seberapa berhasil tujuan pembelajaran tersebut tercapai. Banyak model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam proses belajar untuk tujuan tertentu. Walaupun tidak selalu memungkinkan suatu model pembelajaran dapat diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah (1)Bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran kooperatif model scramble? (2) Bagaimana implementasi penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif model scramble dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa? (3) Bagaimana peningkatan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif model scramble? (4) Bagaimana hambatan yang dihadapi guru dalam penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif model scramble dan dengan upaya pemecahannya? Dalam penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan mulai dari Siklus 1, Siklus 2, dan Siklus 3 yang dilaksanakan secara berkala oleh penulis dan dilaksanakan terhadap siswa kelas VIII A di SMP Negeri 5 Subang. Hasil penelitian adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 8A SMP Negeri 5 Subang setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif model scramble mengalami peningkatan. Hasil keaktifan berpikir kritis siswa pada Siklus I menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas yang dicapai 57%, pada siklus 2 meningkat sebesar 15,83% dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 72,83%, dan pada siklus 3 meningkat sebesar 11,83% dengan nilai rata-rata 84,66%. Peningkatan berpikir kritis siswa di dalam penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari perilaku siswa yang diamati antara lain adalah (1) Memperhatikan penjelasan guru, (2) Merespon apa yang dijelaskan guru, (3) Aktif bertanya, (4) Mengerjakan tugas, (5) Mempresentasikan hasil belajar, (6) Displin dalam belajar. ;---Critical thinking is one of the capabilities that must be owned by a citizen who is an ideal subject for developing the mindset of a child at an early age, age at primary education, junior high school, secondary education, as well as for those who already are in college. The learning model is one important aspect that can not be separated from the process of learning and support in how successful the learning objectives are achieved. Many models of learning that can be applied to the learning process for a particular purpose. Although it does not always allow for a learning model can be applied to the learning process. The problems of this study include (1) How to design a model of cooperative learning scramble? (2) How is the implementation of the use of cooperative learning model of scramble in improving students' critical thinking? (3) How to increase students' critical thinking after using cooperative learning model of scramble? (4) How the barriers faced by teachers in the use of cooperative learning model of scramble and attempt to resolve it? In studies using Action Research (PTK) conducted from Cycle 1, Cycle 2 and Cycle 3, conducted periodically by the author and implemented to class VIII A in SMP Negeri 5 Subang. The research result is the ability to think critically 8A grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Subang after participating in learning by using cooperative learning model of scramble increased. The results of the activity of critical thinking of students in the first cycle shows the average value of the class reached 57%, in the second cycle increased by 15.83% with an average grade 72.83%, and the third cycle increased by 11.83% to the average value of 84.66%. Increasing students' critical thinking in this study can be seen from the behavior of the students observed, among others: (1) Pay attention to the teacher's explanations, (2) Responding to what it described teacher, (3) Active asked, (4) Working on duty, (5) Presents learning outcomes, (6) Discipline in learning.
