Abstract
Pernikahan adalah suatu hal yang sakral dan penting karena menyangkut keberlangsungan hidup. Akan tetapi dalam melangsungkan pernikahan tentunya harus memiliki persiapan yang matang baik dari segi fisik, psikologi, mental dan tentunya finansial. Karena apabila tidak demikian pernikahan akan berakhir pada perceraian. Namun hal ini nampaknya tidak berlaku di masyarakat Desa Jambar, sebagai buktinya setiap tahun angka pernikahan dini di Desa Jambar meningkat. Sebab itulah, peneliti mengadakan penelitian di Desa Jambar. Tujuanya untuk menggali informasi mengenai latar belakang terjadinya pernikahan dini, status ekonomi keluarga yang melakukan pernikahan dini, dampak adanya pernikahan dini hingga upaya yang dilakukan dalam meminimalisir pernikahan dini oleh tokoh masyarakat. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Dalam penelitian, didapatkan bahwa latar belakang terjadinya pernikahan dini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu pendidikan dan pengetahuan yang rendah, himpitan ekonomi, hamil diluar nikah, dan keinginan sendiri. Status ekonomi keluarga yang melakukan pernikahan dini berada dalam kelas bawah karena ditinijau dari pendidikan sebagian besar tamatan SD, bermata pencaharian buruh tani, pendapatan Rp. 300.000 sampai dengan Rp.750.000 dan tidak memiliki barang berharga, hanya memiliki barang bersifat ekonomis seperti televisi, hewan ternak yang sewaktu-waktu dapat dijual jika dibutuhkan ketika keuangan mendesak.;--- Marriage is a sacred and important because it concerns the survival. However in the customs, the wedding of course must have a mature preparations both in terms of physical, psychological, mental and financial. Because if no such marriages will end in divorce. However this did not seem to apply in the community of the village of Jambar, as evidence of early marriage figures every year in the village of Jambar increases. Hence, a researcher with the research in the village of Jambar. The goals to unearth information about the background of the occurrence of early marriage, economic status of families who do the marriage early, the impact of the presence of early marriage to efforts made to minimize premature marriage in by community leaders. In this study, the researchers used a qualitative research method with approach case studies. Data collection techniques for authors to use observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation study. In my research, obtained that background the occurrence of early marriage effected by several factors, level of education and knowledge is low, the insistence of the economy, pregnant outside of marriage, and the desire of his own. The economic status of families who do the early marriage are in the lower class because of the review of education graduates are mostly primary, edged peasant livelihood, income of Rp. 300,000 until Rp 750,000 and have no valuables, only to have the goods are economical as television, farm animals which at any time can be sold if needed when urgent financial
