Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal karena adanya kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis warga belajar dalam pembelajaran menulis narasi dengan penerapan model experiential learning dan mengembangkan pengetahuan mereka tentang bersikap sopan santun melalui audio visual berbasis budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan eksperimen semu dan desain penelitiannya adalah the one group pretest posttest design yang menggunakan subjek dalam bentuk kelompok dengan diberikan tes awal terlebih dahulu, kemudian tutor memberikan perlakuan pada kelompok tersebut (warga belajar) dengan menggunakan model experiential learning, selanjutnya diberi tes akhir. Dengan hipotesis Ho: tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis narasi warga belajar RPA Bagea sebelum dan sesudah diberi pembelajaran. Ha: terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis narasi warga belajar RPA Bagea sebelum dan sesudah diberi pembelajaran. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dengan tutor, penyebaran angket untuk warga belajar, observasi mengajar tutor dan tes kemampuan menulis narasi. Untuk analisis data kuantitatif digunakan teknik anlisis statistik menggunakan program SPSS dengan uji-t didapatkan 0.01 dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil perhitungan dibawah 0.05 berarti signifikan dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara tes akhir dan tes awal. Nilai rata-rata tes awal dan tes akhir 61.73 dan 82.60. Sehingga hasil hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis narasi warga belajar kelas III Kejar Paket A di RPA Bagea sebelum dan sesudah diberi pembelajaran. --- This study was based on the need to improve the participations’ writing skill in writing narration by applying experiential learning model and develop their knowledge about how to well behave through local culture based audio visual. This study used quantitative method with pseudo experiment and its design was one group pretest posttest that used the subject in group by giving the test first, and the tutor give them the treatment by using experiential learning model and then give last test. Null hypothesis says that there is no difference in ability participants’ to write narration before and after they were given the treatment. H1 of this study says that there is the difference in participants’ ability to write narration before and after they were given the treatment. The instruments of this study were interview with tutor, questionnaire for the participants, observation and test. Quantitative data analysis of the study was statistical analysis by using SPSS program and the t-test was 0.01 with degree of trust was 95%. The below 0.05 means significant difference between pretest and posttest. Mean of pretest was 61.73 and posttest was 82.60. The result of hypothesis proved that there was the difference in participants’ ability to write narration before and after they were given the treatment.
