Abstract
Tujuan politik adalah untuk kebaikan dan kebaikan bersama bukan hanya untuk kepentingan kelompok tertentu. Namun pada prakteknya politik dijadikan sebagai alat untuk kepentingan partai politik dan golongan masyarakat tertentu. Situasi politik tersebut membuat masyarakat apatis terhadap politik, secara khusus masyarakat Indonesia seringkali merasa “alergi” dengan kata “politik”. Sementara masyarakat tidak terlepas dari kegiatan politik tersebut, masyarakat sebagai objek sekaligus subjek politik. Secara singkat masyarakat tidak bisa terlepas dari kegiatan politik, walaupun peranan masyarakat terlihat samar. Peran masyarakat menjadi terlihat jelas dalam kegiatan politik dengan adanya pemilu langsung (one man one vote). Dengan adanya pemilihan langsung maka peran masyarakat sangat dominan dalam menentukan arah kebijakan politik. Masyarakat berperan penting dalam menentukan siapa yang akan menjadi kepala daerah, siapa yang akan mengeksekusi kebijakan-kebijakan yang berpihak dan untuk kepentingan masyarakat. Peran masyarakat terbebut hendaknya diikuti dengan kemampuan untuk memilih dan memilih siapa yang layak menjadi pemimpin. Kemampuan masyarakat untuk memilih dan menilai calon pemimpin secara objektif, kritis dan berimbang.Proses pemilihan bukan hanya didasari oleh kepopuleran, tekanan pihak tertentu dan politik uang. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat aplikasi yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat dalam proses penilaian calon yang akan mereka pilih di pemilihan kepala daerah. Dengan menggunakan metode profile matching aplikasi akan membantu calon pemilih dalam menilai calon-calon secara lebih objektif. Hasil dari aplikasi ini dapat berguna membantu masyarakat dalam memilih siapa calon yang akan mereka pilih saat pemilihan umum berlangsung.;---Political purposes are for common goods not only for the interest of a group. However, in practice, politics used as a tools for the political interest of political parties certain groups of society. The political situation make people apathetic to politics, especially in Indonesia people often feel “allergic” to the word “politic”. Meanwhile people can not be separated from political activities, people as the object and also as the subject of politics. Briefly people can not be separated from political activities, although the role of the people looks vague. The role of people become clearer in political activities through direct election (one man one vote). Through direct election the role of people become dominant to determine the political direction. People have important role to will be head of the region, who will execute the policies that make common cause and for the benefit of community. The important role of people should be followed by the ability to sort and to choose who is the decent one to be a leader. The ability of the people to choose and assess the leader candidate objectively, critically and equally. The election processes is not only based on popularity, political party, group pressure and money politic. Purpose of this research is to create an application that can be used by the people in accessing the candidates they would choose in the election. By using profile matching method, the application will assist voters to access the candidates more objectively. The result of this application can be useful to help people to choose the candidate in the election.
