Abstract

--- This study begins from the problem that long stroke in development of woodball is important, meanwhile the ability is still low. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of hands-eyes coordination training method towards the accuracy of long stroke. This research method is experimental, because this research aims to seek the influence between independent variable with dependent variable. The research sample were 12 people. This study design used a pretest – post-test control group design. The research instruments used the long stroke test with the validity 0,830 and reliability 0.905. From the analysis of statistical data is shown that value of paired samples test data is known sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 ≤ 0,05, so it can be concluded that Ho is refused. This shown that there is significant influence of hands-eyes coordination training method towards the accuracy of long stroke in woodball. For further research, researcher expects to examine another aspects of woodball which are basic techniques such as parking, gating stroke, short stroke and medium stroke in woodball.
