Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan di Pizza Hut Cabang Trans Studio Mall Bandung mengenai pengaruh penilaian kinerja terhadap pengembangan karir. Yang melatar belakangi permasalahan dalam menelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pengembangan karir karyawan di Pizza Hut Cabang Trans Studio Mall Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas penilaian kinerja dan efektivitas pengembangan karir karyawan serta mengetahui pengaruh penilaian kinerja terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan di Pizza Hut Cabang Trans Studio Mall Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Dan yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Pizza Hut Cabang Trans Studio Mall Bandung yang berjumlah 45 responden. hasil penelitian mengenai gambaran penilaian kinerja di Pizza Hut Cabang Trans Studio Mall Bandung berada dalam kategori cukup efektif dan pengembangan karir di Pizza Hut Cabang Trans Studio Mall Bandung termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. berdasarkan perhitungan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 6,888, artinya Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 6,888 > 4.067. Ini berarti ada pengaruh antara penilaian kinerja terhadap pengembangan karir dengan kata lain hipotesis diterima. Kata Kunci : Penilaian kinerja, pengembangan karir karyawan This research was conducted on employees at Pizza Hut Branch Bandung Trans Studio Mall about influence of performance appraisal toward career development of employees.Underlying problem in this research is still low of employees career development at Pizza Hut Branch Bandung Trans Studio Mall. The purpose of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the performance apraissal and effectiveness of career development and than determine the influence of performance appraisal toward career development of employees. The method used in this research is explanatory survey. The technique to collect, the data is gotten from the questionnaire on the Likert scale, that is analyzed using simple regression. The respondent of this research is 45 employees at Pizza Hut Branch Bandung Trans Studio Mall. Overview of the results of research on performance appraisal in the category of effective enough amd career depelovment of employees in category of effective enough, calculation based on hypothesis testing obtained Fhitung is 6,888, means that Fhitung > Ftabel is 6,888 > 4.067. This means that there is influence between the performance appraisal with career development, in other words, the hypothesis is accepted. Keywords:Performance appraisal, career development
