Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi tentang implementasi pembelajaran dengan Problem-based Learning (PBL) terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kreativitas siswa pada materi titrasi asam-basa. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di kelas XII salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Indramayu. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, format analisis LKS, lembar observasi sikap siswa, butir soal, lembar observasi bertindak kreatif, angket, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh tahapan pembelajaran terlaksana sesuai dengan tahapan PBL, keterlaksanaan PBL ditinjau dari guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran masing-masing sebesar 94,4 dan 98,6 dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan aktivitas dan sikap siswa juga memperoleh skor rata-rata masing-masing sebesar 83,7 dan 84,9 dengan kategori sangat baik. Penguasaan konsep siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih besar dan berbeda secara siginifikan daripada siswa di kelas kontrol, ditunjukkan dengan N-gain kelas eksperimen (0,649 kategori sedang) lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol (0,415 kategori sedang). Kreativitas siswa di kelas eksperimen juga lebih besar dan berbeda secara signifikan daripada siswa di kelas kontrol, ditunjukkan dengan N-gain berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen (0,760 kategori tinggi) lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol (0,474 kategori sedang) begitupula dengan N-gain bertindak kreatif siswa di kelas eksperimen (0,843 kategori tinggi) lebih besar daripada di kelas kontrol (0,781 kategori tinggi). Terdapat hubungan antara penguasaan konsep siswa dengan berpikir kreatif pada kategori sedang (r = 0,478), hubungan antara penguasaan konsep siswa dengan bertindak kreatif pada kategori sedang (r = 0,419) dan hubungan antara berpikir kreatif dengan bertindak kreatif pada kategori rendah (r = 0,367). Berdasarkan hasil angket dan wawancara, siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap PBL. Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dapat menarik minat dan motivasi belajar siswa untuk memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga dapat lebih bermakna. Kata Kunci : Implementasi PBL, Penguasaan Konsep, Berpikir Kreatif, Bertindak Kreatif, Titrasi Asam-Basa This study aimed at obtaining information on the implementation of learning Problem-based Learning (PBL) about mastery of concepts and creativity of the students on the material acid-base titration. The study method used is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of 30 students experimental class and control class in the class XII one of the high schools in Indramayu. The instrument used was the assessment sheet the planning and implementation of learning, analysis form worksheets, observation sheet student attitudes, test item, observation sheet student creative act, questionnaires and interview guidelines. The results showed that all stages of learning accomplished in accordance with the stages of PBL, PBL performance of teacher in planning and implementing the learning gained an average score of 94.4 and 98.6 with the excellent category, while the activities and attitude of the students in learning gained an average score of 83,7 and 84.9 very good category. Mastery of concepts students in the experimental class is bigger and significantly different than students in the control class, indicated by N-gain experimental class (medium category 0.649) greater than the control group (0.415 medium category). Creativity of the students in the experimental class also larger and significantly different than students in the control class, indicated by N-gain creative thinking class students experiment (0.760 high category) is greater than the control group (0.474 medium category) as well as the N-gain act creatively students in the experimental class (high category 0.843) greater than in the control group (0,781 high category). There is a medium correlation between mastery of concepts and creative act (r = 0,478), correlation mastery of concepts and creative thinking is medium correlation category (r = 0,419) and the correlation of creative thinking and the creative act there is a low correlation category (r = 0,367). Based on the results of questionnaires and interviews, students and teachers give positive responses to PBL. Lessons are held to attract interest and motivation to learn students to solve problems related to everyday life so it can be more meaningful.
