Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui peningkatan power tungkai menggunakan metode neural activation di VIP Fitness And Health Centre Bandung. Metode neural activation merupakan aktivasi sejumlah benang otot secara sinkron. Sehingga latihan ini akan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan gerak yang cepat, akan memperoleh peningkatan kekuatan yang besar dalam waktu singkat. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen.Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu member fitnes yang berada di daerah bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi seluruh member VIP Fitness And Health Centre YAKES Telkom Bandung menggunakan kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing kelasnya 5 member. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah vertical jump test. Dari hasil pengolahan data menunjukan semua data berdistribusikan normal dan homogen. Pada penghitungan rata-rata peningkatan, menunjukkan bahwa power tungkai kelompok eksperimen meningkat sebesar 53,6 sedangkan peningkatan kelompok kontrol adalah 40,4. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikandari metode latihan neural activationterhadap peningkatan power tungkai. ;--- The aim of this research is to find out limbs power enhancement through neural activation method in VIP Fitness and Health Centre Bandung.Neural activation method is a method where muscle threads activated synchronously.Exercising with this method will enhances ability to move fast and acquires great power enhancement in short time.Research method used in this study is experimental method. The population in this research are members of one of fitness centres in Bandung. Purposive sampling is used as data collecting technique. Treatment that given to all VIP Fitness and Health Centre YAKES Telkom Bandung members as research population are experiment group and control group with only 5 members for each group. Research instrument used in this study is vertical jump test. From the data, it shows that all of them are homogeny and normally distributed. Average enhancement calculation indicates that limbs power of the experiment group enhances in the amount of 53.6, while control group’s enhancement is 40.4. According to result of the research, it can be said that neural activation method gives significant impact to limbs power enhancement.
