Abstract
Masjid merupakan tempat suci yang digunakan umat muslim untuk lebih mendekatkan diri kepada Allāh Swt. Masjid didirikan untuk memenuhi hajat umat, khususnya kebutuhan spiritual. Saat ini, pembangunan masjid tidak hanya dipemukiman, tetapi juga disetiap lembaga pendidikan dalam hal ini, sekolah atau madrasah. Masjid merupakan tempat paling baik bagi kegiatan pendidikan dan pembinaan keagamaan. Bahkan dalam penilaian akreditasi, masjid merupakan salah satu pendukungnya. Oleh karena itu, peranan masjid dalam lembaga pendidikan dalam hal ini sekolah atau madrasah, benar-benar sangat diperlukan dalam arti untuk pelengkap sarana belajar.Kendati demikian, pemanfaatan masjid masih belum optimal. Bertambahnya jumlah masjid di Indonesia, termasuk di bangunnya masjid-masjid di sekolah, belum menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas keagamaan yang mencolok. Oleh karena itu, perlu diupayakan berbagai usaha untuk memakmurkannya. Akan tetapi, untuk memakmurkan masjid melalui optimalisasi peran dan fungsinya tidaklah mudah. Setidaknya, ada beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan, antara lain: mengaktifkan kepengurusan masjid, mengaktifkan kegiatan masjid, meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap amanah masjid, meningkatkan kualitas manajemenmasjid, dan pemeliharaan fisik masjid.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dari sisi paradigmanya, pendekatan yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan cara pandang penelitian kualitatif yang memandang objek secara fenomenalogis, berpikir secara induktif dan deduktif, menjelaskan keseluruhan fenomena, lalu disimpulkan dari umum ke khusus dan dari khusus ke umum. Sedangkan dari sisi bidang keilmuan, termasuk pendekatan interdisipliner yang meliputi bidang kesejarahan, sosiologi, dan keislaman. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan gabungan (triangulasi).Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa peran dan fungsi masjid sekolah di SMAN 2 Bandung sudah optimal. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan aktifnya kepengurusan masjid, aktifnya kegiatan masjid, tingginya kepedulian warga sekolah terhadap amanah masjid, terkelola dengan baiknya manajemenmasjid, dan terpeliharanya fisik masjid. Kata Kunci: Peran dan Fungsi Masjid Sekolah, Pembinaan Keagamaan The mosque is a holy place for Muslims who used them approach to Allah SWT. The mosque was built to meet the needs of the people, especially spiritual needs. Currently, the development of mosques not only in settlement, but also in every educational institution in this case, schools or madrasah. The mosque is the best place for religious education and awareness activities. Even in the accreditation assessment, the mosque is one of the supporters. Therefore, the role of the mosque in the educational institutions in this school or madrasah, really very necessary in the supplementary learning tool. Despite such, the utilization of mosque was not optimal. Increasing the number of mosques in Indonesia, including in mosques awakening in school, has not shown a striking increase in religious activity. Therefore, it is necessary efforts to prosper. However, the prosperity of the mosque through the role optimization and function is not easy. At least, there are several things to consider, that is : enable the management of the mosque, activate mosque activities, raise awareness of mosque trustee, improve the mosque quality management, and maintenance of the physical of the mosque. This research using descriptive method with qualitative approach. In terms of the paradigm, the approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This study uses qualitative research perspective which views the object phenomenologist, inductive and deductive thinking, explain the whole phenomenon, and concluded from the general to the particular and from the particular to the general. In terms of scientific fields, including interdisciplinary approach which included the history, sociology, and Islamic fields. Data collected technique by observation, interviews, documentation, and combined (triangulation). From the research it can be concluded, that the role and function of the mosque school in SMAN 2 Bandung is optimal. This is evidenced by the active management of the mosque, its active mosque activities, concerns for the school to mandate the mosque, mosque management well managed, and the physical maintenance of the mosque.
