Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya minat siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Arab dan pada akhirnya mereka enggan untuk berbicara bahasa Arab (takallum). Terkait pembelajaran keterampilan takallum, terdapat salah satu model pembelajaran yang diterapkan di Madrasah Aliyah Dârul Ulûm Lido Bogor, di mana dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya takallum diterapkan model pembelajaran drama. Dalam pelaksanaannya, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti yaitu berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu materi ajar bahasa Arab kelas X secara garis besar sesuai dengan kurikulum yang digunakan. Media yang digunakan juga dirasa cukup inovatif dan kreatif dalam menunjang pembelajaran drama berbahasa arab ini. Kemampuan takallum siswa kelas X sudah cukup baik dari yang diharapkan dan adanya peningkatan setelah diterapkannya model drama ini. Secara garis besar kelebihan dari drama tersebut siswa bebas mengekspresikan bakatnya, cepat menghafal mufrodat, cepat memahami materi, melancarkan takallum, dan inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran takalum. Sedangkan kekurangan dari drama ini adalah beberapa siswa kesulitan dalam menghafal dialog, siswa dituntut untuk tampil berani, dan beberapa siswa harus mempersiapkan kostum, logistik, dan dekorasi. ;--- The background of this study is the lack of students’ interest in speaking Arabic language which caused them reluctant to speak in Arabic (takallum). Related to takallum skill learning, there is one of learning model, drama learning model which applied in Senior High School of Daarul Uluum Lido Bogor for developing takallum skill. In doing this study, the writer used qualitative approach by using descriptive analysis. The samples were taken from 25 of X grade students. Observation, interview, documentation and triangulation were done to collect the data. The result showed that the learning material in Arabic language for X grade students is appropriate with the applied curriculum. The use of media was quite innovative and creative to develop this drama learning model. Students’ ability in takallum also was good and increasing after applying this learning model. In conclusion, the strengths of this drama are the students free to express their talents, fast in memorizing mufrodat (vocabulary) and understanding the material, increase their takallum’s ability and the new innovation for takallum learning. Meanwhile, the weaknesses are students’ difficulties in memorizing the dialogue, students’ confidence in their performance and several of them have to provide the costume, logistic and decoration for drama.
