Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) mengenai penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran TGT untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar, dilihat saat proses pembelajaran hanya 16% siswa yang aktif pada saat dilakukan pengambilan data awal dan rendahnya nilai evaluasi sebesar 43,4% siswa yang lulus KKM. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengadaptasi dari model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart menggunakan tiga siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu SDN di kota Bandung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA yang berjumlah 24 orang. Penilaian keaktifan ini merujuk pada teori Paul B. Diedrich dengan hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan sudah meningkat. Pada siklus I sebanyak 47% siswa dapat mencapai visual activities pada siklus II menjadi 81% dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 94%. Selanjutnya dimensi oral activities pada siklus I sebanyak 52,5% pada siklus II 72,7% dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 85%. Dimensi motor activities pada siklus I sebanyak 59%, siklus II 90,9% dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 100%. Dimensi writing activities pada siklus I 50% pada siklus II 81% dan pada siklus III 97,7%. Dimensi listening activities pada siklus I 49% pada siklus II 77% dan pada siklus III 87%. Dimensi emotional activities pada siklus I 50% pada siklus II 75,5% dan pada siklus III 98%. Dimensi drawing activities pada siklus I 65% pada siklus II 87% dan pada siklus III 100%. Selanjutnya dimensi mental activities pada siklus I sebanyak 45% pada siklus II 83% dan pada siklus III 95,6%. Selain peningkatan setiap indikator nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat pada siklus I 52,4% siswa sudah memenuhi keseluruhan dimensi pada keaktifan belajar, pada siklus II menjadi 82,7% dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan menjadi 95,5%. Sementara untuk persentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 47% pada siklus I menjadi 81% pada siklus II dan 86% pada siklus III. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Rekomendasi penelitian ini diberikan pada guru dan peneliti selanjutnya.;--- This research is a classroom action research (CAR) about the application of the model Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model to enhance the activity of learning elementary school students. This study aims to determine how the application of TGT learning model to enhance the activity of learning elementary school students. This study based on the low activity of 5th grade elementary school students. When learning process, only 16% of students were active when the initial data collection and for evaluation value was only 43.4% of students who pass “KKM”. Based on these problems, this action research used three cycles which adapted from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model’s. This study was conducted in one elementary school in Bandung. The subjects were 5th grade students totaling 24 students. Activity rates refers to Paul B. Diedrich Theory with the result was increased. In the first cycle as much as 47% of students can achieve visual activities in the second cycle to 81% and the third cycle increased to 94%. Furthermore, the dimensions of oral activities in the first cycle by 52,5% at 72,7% the second cycle and the third cycle increased to 85%. Dimensions of motor activities in the first cycle were 59%, 90% the second cycle and the third cycle increased to 100%. Dimensions writing activities in the first cycle of 50% at 81% the second cycle and the third cycle was 97,7%. Dimensions listening activities in the first cycle of 49% at 77% the second cycle and the third cycle 87%. Emotional dimension activities in the first cycle of 50% in the second cycle of 75,5% and 98% in the third cycle. Dimension drawing activities in the first cycle of 65% at 87% the second cycle and the third cycle of 100%. Furthermore, mental dimension of activities in the first cycle was 45% in the second cycle 83% and 95.6% in the third cycle. In addition to the improvement of each indicator, the value of the average grade increased 52,4% in the first cycle of students already meet the overall dimension of the activity of learning, on the second cycle be 82,7% and the third cycle increased to 95,5%. As for the learning completeness percentage increased from 47% in the first cycle to 81% in the second cycle and 86% in the third cycle. From these results, it can be concluded that Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament model can increase the activity of learning elementary school students. This research recommendations given to teachers and further research.
