Abstract

Tourism destination industry plays an important role in tourism activities since it is the core of all tourism activities. Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan as one of tourist attraction in the middle of Jakarta The Capital City which seeks to maintain and improve all important aspects that brings an impact to the sustainability of the tourist destination itself. The problems encountered by the Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan is lack of the intention to revisit as the result that the number of domestic tourists who visit Perkampungan Budaya Setu Babakan did not reach the target. Hence Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan must have a strategy to overcome the problem. Therefore the researcher choosed tourist experience as one of solution that can be implemented to improve revisit intention through tourist satisfaction. In this study, the independent variable is tourist experience (X) consisting of entertainment, educational, escapist and esthetics. The intervening variable is tourist satisfaction (Y) and dependent variable is revisit intention (Z). The type of research used are descriptive and verificative with method used are explanatory survey and cross sectional approach. The sample in this study is 100 respondents of domestic tourists who visit Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan, the sampling technique used is systematic random sampling. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The result of this study shows that there is a significant affects of tourist experience toward tourist satisfaction and its impact on revisit intention.;---Industri destinasi wisata merupakan industri yang berperan penting dalam kegiatan pariwisata karena merupakan inti dari seluruh aktivitas wisata. Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata budaya di tengah Ibukota yang selalu berupaya untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan segala aspek penting yang berdampak pada keberlangsungan destinasi wisata itu sendiri. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan adalah rendahnya tingkat revisit intention wisatawan sehingga jumlah kunjungan wisatawan nusantara tidak mencapai target. Oleh karena itu Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan harus memiliki strategi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dengan demikian peneliti memilih tourist experience sebagai salah satu upaya yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan revisit intention melalui kepuasan wisatawan. Dalam penelitian ini variabel independen (X) yang digunakan yaitu tourist experience yang terdiri dari entertainment, educational, escapist dan esthetics. Variabel intervening (Y) yaitu kepuasan wisatawan dan variabel dependen (Z) yaitu revisit intention. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden yaitu wisatawan nusantara yang berkunjung ke Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan dengan teknik penarikan yang digunakan yaitu systematicrandom sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara tourist experience terhadap kepuasan wisatawan dan dampaknya terhadap revisit intention.
