Abstract

Kompetensi profesional bagi guru sanggar gambar merupakan sesuatu yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap guru yang mengajar di sanggar gambar, namun setiap guru memiliki kompetensi profesional berbeda-beda. Mungkin ada pengaruhnya terhadap ekspresi gambar anak didiknya, mungkin saja ada tidak ada pengaruhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru sanggar terhadap ekspresi gambar anak usia dini yang ada di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini didasari oleh penulis yang berkecimpung di bidang seni rupa anak, yang ingin mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru sanggar terhadap ekspresi gambar anak dan mengaplikasikannya dalam pembelajaran menggambar di tingkat anak usia dini (usia 4 sampai 6 tahun). Selain itu penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi untuk pendidik dan calon pendidik gambar anak untuk meningkatkan lagi kompetensinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan analisis gambar anak. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan analisis, bahwa kompetensi profesional merupakan salah satu kompetensi guru yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap ekspresi karya gambar anak usia dini (4-6 tahun). Guru sanggar gambar yang memiliki kompetensi profesional yang baik memiliki anak didik dengan ekspresi gambar yang baik lebih banyak. Sedangkan guru sanggar gambar yang memiliki tingkat kompetensi profesional di bawah kategori baik, memiliki anak didik dengan ekspresi gambar yang baik lebih sedikit.;---Professional competence for drawing teachers is something that should be owned by every drawing teacher, however, every teacher has a different professional competence. Perhaps, there are effects to the expression of the drawing result in each child, or may be just the opposite. This research is aimed to describe the influence of professional competence of drawing teacher to the expression of early childhood drawing result in Bandung. This research is based on the author, who is working in the field of children's art, who wanted to know the influence of professional competence of drawing teacher to the expression of the childrens drawing result and then to apply them in the learning process of drawing in the early childhood (4 to 6 years old) level. Moreover, this research is expected to be a reference for educators and the candidates of drawing teacher to improve their competence. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. In the collection of data, the author uses observation, interviews, and analysis to the children drawing result. Based on the observations and analysis result, that professional competence is one of the teachers competency that can affect the expression of the early childhood drawing result (4 to 6 years old). Drawing teachers that have a good professional competence will have more number of students with a good image expression while the drawing teacher that have a lower levels of professional competence, will have fewer students with a good image expression.
