Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik Think Pair Share dan teknik Numbered Heads Together terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SMAN 1 Parigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain eksperimen Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XF dan kelas XG semester dua dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi standar kompetensi uang dan perbankan di SMAN 1 Parigi pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Kelas XF sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 yang mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan teknik think pair share dan kelas XG sebagai kelas eksperimen II yang mendapatkan perlakuan dengan menggunakan teknik numbered heads together. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji beda dua rata-rata atau uji t dengan software SPSS Versi 22. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran pada kelas yang menggunakan teknik TPS, 2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran pada kelas yang menggunakan teknik NHT, 3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan teknik TPS dengan kelas yang menggunakan teknik NHT ;--- The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share technique and technique Numbered Heads Together to the critical thinking skills of students at SMAN 1 Parigi. The method used was Quasi-Experimental Design with experimental designs Non-equivalent pretest-posttest Design. This study was conducted in the second semester of XF and XG class in economic subjects based on money and banking standard competency at SMAN 1 Parigi in the academic year 2015/2016. XF class is the first experimental class that receive treatment using TPS technique and XG class is the second class experiment that receive treatment using NHT technique. Instruments used in this research is test students' critical thinking skills. Data were analyzed using two different test average or t test with SPSS software version 22. The result revealed that: 1) there are differences in students’ critical thinking skills before and after learning in the classroom using TPS, 2) there are differences in students’ critical thinking skills before and after the learning in the classroom using NHT technique, 3) there is a difference increase between the students’ critical thinking skills in the class using the TPS technique and in the class using NHT technique.
