Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan latihan soal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan model kooperatif tipe picture and picture untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas I SD. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas menurut Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas I SDN S 3 kota Bandung dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 19 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif, dan tes hasil belajar sebagai data kuantitatif. Hasil observasi diolah dengan reduksi data, klasifikasi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Sedangkan tes diolah dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada prasiklus diperoleh nilai rata-rata 64.94 dengan ketuntasan 57.89%, sedangkan pada siklus I rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 73.02 dengan ketuntasan 63.84%, pada siklus II rata-rata nilai 77.89 dengan ketuntasan 78.94%, dan pada siklus III perolehan nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 84.21 dengan ketuntasan 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas I SD pada materi mengenal satuan waktu. ; This research is motivated by the lack of activity and the result of the student’s learning of the mathematics courses. The main reason of the case is the teachers just using the lecture method, and exercises in the learning process. The purpose of this study to describe the application of the cooperative model picture and picture to improve learning outcomes math grade I Elementary School. This research was conducted using research methods class action according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart consisting of planning, implementation , observation and reflection. This research was conducted in grade I SDN 3 Bandung with the number of students as many as 19 peoples. Data collection is done by observation techniques used to collect qualitative data and test results of learning as quantitative data. While tests processed by calculating the average value and the presentation of mastery learning. The results of studies using model picture and picture showed improvement in each cycle. On pre-cycle average values obtained with the completeness 64.94 by 57.89 % , whereas in the first cycle the average value increased to 73.02 by 63.84 % completeness, the second cycle of the average value of 77.89 by the thoroughness of 78.94 % , and the third cycle of the acquisition value increased to an average of 84.21 with completeness 100 %. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of the type cooperative model picture and picture can improve learning outcomes of students in 1st grade math on material know the time unit.
