ANALISIS BUKU TEKS KIMIA SMA KELAS X YANG DIGUNAKAN DI SMA NEGERI SE-KOTA BANDUNG

    Abstract

    Penelitian ini didasarkan atas permasalahan belum layaknya buku teks kimia yang beredar di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas buku teks pelajaran kimia SMA kelas X dari komponen isi, komponen penyajian, komponen bahasa dan komponen kegrafikaan. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif dengan objek penelitian adalah bab ikatan kimia yang ada dalam buku teks kimia SMA kelas X yang paling banyak digunakan di SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung, adapun informan terdiri atas 3 orang guru kimia dan 15 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah format analisis buku teks yang diadaptasi dari Pusat Perbukuan, serta angket persepsi guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas bab ikatan kimia pada buku teks kimia SMA kelas X yang dianalisis dari komponen isi, penyajian, bahasa dan kegrafikaan masuk ke dalam kategori cukup baik. Demikian juga berdasarkan persepsi guru dan siswa bab ikatan kimia pada buku teks kimia yang dianalisis layak digunakan di sekolah.

    This research is based on the issue that so many chemistry text book accured at school in less quality or has not qualified yet. This research aims to know the quality of a chemistry textbook lesson in high school of X grade from some components such as content, rendering, language and grafic component. This research applies the methods of descriptive research and the object is a chemical bond that exist in a chapter inside the chemistry texbook of Sigh School class that mostly usedin public high school grade X in Bandung. The informans consists of three chemical teachers and 15 students. The instruments are used a textbook analysis format adapted from Pusat Perbukuan, and the perception of teachers and students as well. The result showed that the quality of the chemistry textbook of High School X grade that analized from the presentation of the content and language component into the grafic category is good enough. Likewise, based on perceptions of the teacher and students to the chemical bonds in chemistry textbook in School is deserve to be used based on the analyzed.
