Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi sekolah inklusif X, di sekolah tersebut terdapat anak autis yang mengalami tantrum, apabila keinginannya tidak dipenuhi anak akan tantrum. Ini disebabkan juga karena program yang dijalankan di sekolah dengan yang di rumah tidak berjalan seiringan. Oleh karena itu perlunya pemberdayaan orangtua dalam menangani anak autis yang mengalami tantrum di sekolah inklusif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dua tahap, tahap pertama menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan tahap kedua menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode singgle subject reseach. Hasil penelitian pada tahap satu bahwa anak sering mengalami prilaku tantrum di kelas, sehingga orangtua belum bisa manangani dengan baik, orangtua cendrung mengikuti semua kemauan anaknya. Kompetensi yang sudah dimiliki orangtua pada saat sekarang ini yaitu orangtua sudah mulai ingin mengetahui bagaimana cara menangani anak autis yang mengalami tantrum tersebut. Jadi program aturan di dalam kelas tersebut terdiri dari anak dapat duduk tenang, mendengarkan penjelasan guru, mengerjakan tugas, tidak marah-marah, dan tidak memukul teman. Berdasarkan Program pemberdayaan orangtua dalam menangani tantrum anak autis di sekolah inklusif X sangat efektif karena adanya perubahan tantrum anak dari sebelum diberikan intervensi aturan di dalam kelas dengan sesudah intervensi, orangtua sudah bisa menangani anak autis yang mengalami tantrum sesuai dengan program yang telah ada. Berdasarkan penelitian diatas sekolah dapat memberdayaan orangtua dalam menangani anak autis yang mengalami tantrum.; The background of this research X inclusive school, at the school are autistic children who have tantrums, if demands were not met the child tantrums. It is also caused because of a program run in schools to those at home do not go hand in hand. Hence the need for empowering parents in dealing with children with autism who have tantrums in the inclusive school. The method used is research of two stages, the first stage uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and the second stage uses a quantitative approach to the subject singgle reseach methods. The results of the study at this stage that children often have behavioral tantrums in the classroom, so that parents can not manangani well, parents tend to follow all along with her son. Competence is already owned by the parent at the present time that parents have started to know how to deal with autistic children who have tantrums them. So the rules in the classroom program consists of a child can sit quietly, listening to the teacher, do chores, do not get angry, and do not hit your friends. Based on parent empowerment program in dealing with tantrums of children with autism in an inclusive school X is very effective due to the change of the child tantrums before intervention rules given in class after intervention, parents are able to deal with autistic children who have tantrums in accordance with the existing programs. Based on the above research schools can be the empowerment of parents in dealing with children with autism who have tantrums.
