Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status identitas yaitu achievement, moratorium, foreclosure dan diffussion dan agresivitas pada remaja di Bekasi. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling dan jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 150 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner yang berisi dua instrumen pengukuran yaitu instrumen Ego Identity Process Questionnaire (EIPQ) dari Balestreri, dkk dan The Aggression Questionnaire dari Buss dan Perry yang telah diadaptasikan. Hasil uji korelasi kontingensi menunjukan bahwa remaja dengan agresivitas sangat tinggi dimiliki oleh mereka dengan status identitas moratorium meskipun begitu, sebagian besar remaja di Bekasi memiliki agresivitas rendah. Sementara hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Chi-Square menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi korelasi sebesar 0,319 (>0,05) yang artinya tidak terdapat hubungan antara status identitas dan agresivitas pada remaja di Bekasi.; The research aims to determine the relationship between identity status are achievement, moratorium, foreclosure and diffussion and aggressiveness among adolescents in Bekasi. The design of this research is quantitative with correlational method. The sampling technique used is random sampling and the number of samples taken is 150 people. Datum were obtain by used a modified Ego Identity Process Questionnaire (EIPQ) by Balestreri, et.al and The Aggression Questionnaire by Buss and Perry. The result of this research using Contingency correlation test shows that adolescents with very high aggressiveness owned identity moratorium status even so, most of the teenagers in Bekasi have low aggressiveness. While the results of hypothesis testing using Chi-Square shows a correlation of 0.319 significance level (higher than 0.05) which means there is no relationship between identity status and aggressiveness in adolescents in Bekasi. Therefore, the relationship between the two variables is not significant.
