Abstract
Aktifitas produksi dan konsumsi yang begitu pesat di Kota Bandung, nyatanya memiliki konsekuensi permasalahan limbah. Terbukti perkembangan jumlah sampahnya berkisar 12 ton per hari. Untuk mengatasinya masyarakat mendirikan bank sampah sebagai rekayasa sosial agar masyarakat memilah sampah dan mendapatkan nilai ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi potensi ekonomi yang dihasilkan oleh bank sampah. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pengurus dan nasabah bank sampah. Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 25 responden dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan nonprobability sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Untuk menggambarkan potensi ekonomi yang ada pada bank sampah dapat dilihat melalui beberapa indikator meliputi : modal kerja awal mendirikan bersumber dari modal bersama dan masuk kategori rendah yaitu berkisar Rp. 83.333 - Rp. 21.166.667 per tahun, kesempatan kerja didalamnya berkisar 3-6 orang dan masuk kategori rendah yaitu kurang dari Rp. 9.333.333 per tahun, pendapatan nasabah masuk kategori rendah berkisar Rp. 41.892 - Rp. 8.402.928 per tahun, omzet masuk kategori rendah berkisar Rp. 732.450 - Rp. 45.154.967 per tahun dan penjualan produk daur ulang masuk kategori rendah yaitu kurang dari Rp. 3.867.778 per tahun.; Activity of production and consumption growing fast in Bandung but the consequence is waste problem. Total of trash is growing large at level 12 tons per day. To establish bank of sampah as social manipulation so that society can recycle and reuse trash and have benefit from waste problem. This study aims to find out economic potency as a result from bank of sampah. This study is quantitative descriptive method analyzed through questionnaire. Subject of this study is manager and customers bank of sampah. In this study takes 25 respondents to test using non-probability sampling. Data is also calculated by descriptive statistic. To describe economic potency on bank of sampah can be seen through some indicators which is: first occupation capital resources from partnership and part of low category level at about 83.333-21.166.167 IDR per year, chance of working involves 3-6 persons and part of low category level which is less from 9.333.333 IDR pe year, income customers is also in low category level at about 41.892-8.402.928 IDR per year, turnover in low category level at about 732.450-45.154.967 IDR per year and selling recycled product in low category level at about 3.867.778 IDR per year.
