Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian secara umum, “Adakah pengaruh penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam ranah kognitif pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep partikel materi di SMP Negeri 26 Bandung?”. Secara lebih khusus rumusan masalah terdiri dari “(1) Bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dalam aspek analisis (C4) pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep partikel materi di SMP Negeri 26 Bandung?; (2) Bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dalam aspek evaluasi (C5) pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep partikel materi di SMP Negeri 26 Bandung?”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest Posttest Design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes yang berupa soal pilihan ganda. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu Cluster Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas kontrol dan satu kelas eksperimen, dengan masing-masing 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. Adapun simpulan khusus menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dalam aspek analisis (C4) pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep partikel materi di SMP Negeri 26 Bandung; (2) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dalam aspek evaluasi (C5) pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep partikel materi di SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. Rekomendasi yang diberikan peneliti untuk kedepannya dengan dijadikannya dokumentasi dan referensi dalam proses pembelajaran tentang penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android sebagai media alternative dalam proses pembelajaran bagi guru maupun sekolah, dan diharapkan menjadi motivasi belajar bagi siswa. Diperlukan juga kajian kembali dalam mengembangkan media mobile learning berbasis android terhadap konten belajar, agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan menghasilkan media belajar yang inovatif dan kreatif.; This study aimed to answer the research problem in general, 'is there any effect of using android based Mobile Learning as learning media towards students' learning outcome in the cognitive domain in Natural Science subject about the Concept of Particulate Matter in SMPN 26 Bandung?' More specifically, the research problems consist of (1) how is the effect of using Android-Based Mobile Learning as learning media towards students' learning outcome in the cognitive domain in analysis aspect in Natural Science subject about the Concept of Particulate Matter in SMPN 26 Bandung? (1) how is the effect of using Android-Based Mobile Learning as learning media towards students' learning outcome in the cognitive domain in evaluation aspect in Natural Science subject about the Concept of Particulate Matter in SMPN 26 Bandung? This study used Quasy-Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest Posttest Design. Instrument used in this study is multiple choice questions. Sampling technique used is Cluster Sampling. This study took a control group and an experimental class which consist of 36 students in each group. The result in general showed that the use of Android-Based Mobile Learning gave significant effect toward learning outcome in Natural Science study of students Grade Students of SMPN 26 Bandung. The conclusions specifically indicate that (1) there is the effect of the use of android-based mobile learning as a medium of learning for student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of the analysis (C4) in science subjects on the concept of matter particles in SMP Negeri 26 Bandung; (2) there are significant use android-based mobile learning as a medium of learning for student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain in the aspect of evaluation (C5) in science subjects on the concept of matter particles in SMP Negeri 26 Bandung. Recommendations are given for future research by documenting and reference in the process of learning about the use of android-based mobile learning as alternative media in the learning process for teachers and schools, and is expected to be the motivation of learning for students. Necessary studies also back in developing Android-based mobile learning media to the learning content, in order to improve student learning outcomes and produce innovative media and creative learning.
