Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan tentang pelaksanaan tata tertib yang ada di sekolah saat ini belum maksimal dalam membina karakter kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) siswanya. Siswa terlihat kurang mempedulikan apa yang dilarang di lingkungan sekolah. Mereka lebih senang bertindak sesuai kemauan sendiri dan tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa tingkat kenakalan remaja di sekolah saat ini semakin meningkat mulai dari pelanggaran terkecil bahkan sampai pelanggaran yang besar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, menuntut pihak SMA Negeri 1 Subang agar memberikan peringatan atau hukuman seefektif mungkin dan menanggulangi pelanggaran peraturan sekolah yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Pembinan karakter kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) siswa dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai program sekolah salahsatunya adalah sistem poin. Sistem poin pada tata tertib sekolah merupakan bentuk peraturan sekolah yang setiap aturannya memiliki poin pelanggaran. Poin yang dicantumkan berbeda-beda sesuai dengan tingkat pelanggaran yang dilakukan. Sehingga dengan demikian diharapkan dengan diterapkannya tata tertib dengan sistem poin dapat membina karakter kewarganegaraan siswanya. Untuk menunjang penelitian ini, maka peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karakter kewarganegaraan siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkannya sistem poin pada tata tertib sekolah. Karakter kewarganegaraan yang mengalami peningkatan diantaranya adalah karakter kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kesopanan, religius dan kejujuran. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut, penerapan tata tertib sekolah dengan menggunakan sistem poin mampu meningkatkan karakter kewarganegaraan siswa (civic disposition) siswa. ; The research studies is about the implementation toward school guidelines and rules which is not maximum in building students’ civic disposition. The students are not taking care of what is forbidden in school area. They are happier acting as they want and cannot be avoided that the level of juvenile delinquency in school more increasing from one little violation until the big one. According to its problems, demanding in SMA Negeri 1 Subang is needed to give warning or punishment effectively and to overcome the violation in school which is done by the students. Students’ civic disposition can be applied by various school program, on of which is point system. Points system on school guidelines and rules is a form of school rules which each rule has a violation point. The listed points are vary depending on the level of violation done. Therefore, applying point system rules can build students national character. To support this study, this study uses qualitative research methods. The techniques of data collection are interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the study is that the students’ national character meets developments after applying point system toward school guidelines and rules. The national character which meets developments are character of discipline, responsibility, politeness, religion, and honesty. Based on those explanations, the application of point system toward school guidelines and rules can improve students’ civic disposition.
