Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan, didapat informasi bahwa anak down syndrome termasuk kategori anak tunagrahita sedang yang memiliki hambatan kecerdasan, sehingga hal ini berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan perkembangan motorik nya. Pada anak down syndrome usia dini yang bernama NA, aspek motorik kasarnya yaitu lokomotor mengalami hambatan dalam berjalan, berlari, dan melompat, di mana cara berjalan, berlari, dan melompat belum seimbang, karena itu dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran khusus supaya hambatan tersebut bisa dikurangi. Tari kreatif adalah salah satu cara di mana pembelajaran khusus motorik akan terasa lebih menyenangkan, karena didalamnya memiliki unsur-unsur musik dan lagu. Dimana pada masa perkembangan anak usia dini seperti halnya anak down syndrome sangat menyukai hal yang berunsur seni, musik, dan lagu. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tari kreatif dapat meningkatkan gerak lokomotor anak down syndrome. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini eksperimen yaitu single subject research dengan menggunakan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan tari kreatif memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan gerak lokomotor anak down syndrome (NA). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan pada setiap fase dari fase pertama. baseline 1 (A-1) sebesar 42,9, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 58,4 dan fase baseline 2 (A-2) sebesar 76,3 penelitian dalam berjalan, berlari, dan melompat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat di sarankan kepada sekolah dan guru, yaitu penggunaan tari kreatif ini bisa menjadi salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam melatih gerak lokomotor anak.; Based on the preliminary study that has been done, obtained information that the down syndrome child are include category of Moderate Intelegency Disorder who has obstacles inteligence, so that effected to their motor development ability. To the early age down syndrome child named NA, her coarse motor aspect which is locomotor had resistance in walking, running, and jumping, when the way she walk, run, and jump had no balance, therefor to decrease the resistance needs speciality study method. The Creative Dance is one of the ways, to make speciality motor study feels more fun, because it has music and song inside it. Where on the early age development time, the down syndrome child likes things that having element of art, music, and song. The purpose of the reserch is to know the effect of creative dance to improve the locomotor movemen of down syndrome child. The research methode that used on this research is Single Subject Research that using A-B-A design. The result showed that using the crative dance gave such a significant improvement of locomotor movement ability from the down syndrome child (NA). This thing prove by the improvement on every fase from the first fase. Baseline 1 (A-1) as 42,9, intervention fase (B) as 58,4 and baseline fase 2 (A – 2) as 76,3. The reserach on walk, run, and jump. Based on the result of the research, advised to principal and teachers to use the crative dance as a study methode to train the locomotor movement of the child.
