Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya empati pada remaja awal khususnya siswa kelas VII di sekolah inklusif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan empati. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode eksperimen kuasi dan desain pre-test post-test control group. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Garuda Cendekia Jakarta Selatan dengan populasi sebanyak 72 siswa, pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probability yaitu purposive sampling, sebanyak delapan siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol dan delapan siswa menjadi kelompok eksperimen. Data mengenai empati siswa dikumpulkan melalui instrumen interpersol reactivity index yang dikembangkan oleh Mark Davis. Data yang terkumpul di analisis menggunakan uji statistic nonparametric yaitu uji U-Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan efektivitas bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan dapat dilihat dari hasil uji U-Mann Whitney dengan perolehan p = 0,023 yang berarti bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap empati siswa reguler kelas VII SMP Garuda Cendekia Jakarta Selatan.; This research had background with the importance of empathy to the adolecense especially 7th grade in inclusive school. The purpose of this research is testing the counseling group using effective games technique for increasing the ability of empathy onto 7th grade reguler students in Garuda Cendekia Junior High School batch 2014/ 2015. The quantitative approachment is used in this research with quasi experimental method and pre test post test control group. The research which were done in Garuda Cendekia Junior High School in South Jakarta with 72 population. Some samples were taken using purposive sampling, then eight students got into a control group and eight students got into an experimental group. Thedata of students’ empathy is submitted through the interpersol reactivity index which was developed by Mark Davis. The data that was submitted afterward analized using statistic nonparametic test which is U-mann Whitney test. The result of this research shows that 1) 20,84% students have higher empathy, 56,95% students have average empathy and 22.23% students have low empathy. 2) Games in group is effective to increase empathy in 7th grade regular students in Garuda Cendekia Junior High School., the effectiveness can be seen from the result of U-Mann Whitney test with p= 0,023 as the result which means group counseling with game technique had significant influence to regular students’ empathy in 7th grade of Garuda Cendekia Junior High School.
