Abstract

Kawasan sekitar Situ Cisanti berada di arboretum 73 hulu Sungai Citarum yang memiliki tujuh buah mata air yang mengalirkan airnya ke Situ Cisanti. Namun jika kawasan sekitarnya diubah secara destruktif maka akan terjadi pengeringan mata air. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui jenis kearifan lokal yang masih dilakukan masyarakat, mengetahui pembagian zonasi kawasan untuk mengurangi tekanan penduduk dalam penggunaan lahan kawasan lindung, mengetahui peran agen pembaru dan masyarakat serta hasil usahanya untuk melestarikan Kawasan sekitar Situ Cisanti, serta mengetahui implikasi hasil penelitian pelestarian dan peran masyarakat kawasan Situ Cisanti pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA/MA/Sederajat. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif-verifikatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi yang mencari dan mengungkap makna dibalik fakta yang ditemukan. Proses pengumpulan data dengan teknik triangulasi, yang datanya bersumber dari 10 orang informan dengan latar belakang yang berbeda–beda. Walaupun aktivitas destruktif pada hutan di kawasan sekitar Situ Cisanti kerap terjadi, ternyata masih ada kearifan lokal di masyarakat sekitar, diantaranya terdapat folklor Situ Cisanti dan Gunung Wayang dalam bentuk pupuh, petuah, dan berbagai ritual di Situ Cisanti yang pada dasarnya bertujuan untuk melindungi situ agar tetap lestari. Zonasi kawasan sekitar situ terbagi menjadi enam petak dengan 3 fungsi yaitu zona hijau, zona budidaya, dan zona interaksi. Pelestarian Kawasan Sekitar Situ Cisanti tidak lepas dari peran agen pembaru dan masyarakat untuk berkomitmen dan aktif menjaga dan melindungi kawasan ini sehingga kawasan ini selalu dapat memberikan mata air untuk Situ Cisanti yang berguna bagi masyarakat setempat khususnya dan masyarakat Jawa barat pada umumnya. Perjuangan Agen pembaru dan masyarakat akan menjadi inspirasi bagi peserta didik untuk paham, sadar, peduli, dan melakukan aksi untuk melestarikan lingkungan. Bahan ajar dari hasil penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan materi ajar tentang pelestarian lingkungan pada pembelajaran geografi SMA/MA/sederajat. ---------- The Around Zone of Situ Cisanti is in the arboretum 73 upstream of Citarum River, which has seven springs that drain the water into Situ Cisanti. However, if the around zone destructively altered, there will be kiln drying of the springs. The purpose of this research are to determine the type of local wisdom that are still made by the society, to determine the distribution of zoning to reduce the pressure of population in protecting areas of land use, to determine the role of reformer agencies and society and the outcome of the efforts to preserve the around zone of Situ Cisanti, and to determine the implications of the research product in conservation and the role of society of Situ Cisanti region in learning Geography in SMA (High School)/MA/equal. The method of the research is qualitative-verification through phenomenological approach, to seek and uncover the meaning behind the facts found. The process of collecting data using triangulation techniques, the data is sourced from 10 informants with different backgrounds. Even though the destructive activities in the forest of the around zone of Situ Cisanti almost happen in the case, there are still local wisdom in the society such as the folklore of Situ Cisanti and Mount Wayang in the form of stanzas, advices, and various rituals in situ Cisanti which basically aimed to protect the everlasting of the lake. Zoning the around zone of the lake divided into six zones with the three functions; the green zone, cultivation zone, and interaction zone. The Preservation of Situ Cisanti Around Zone can’t be separated from the role of change agent and society to commit actively to maintain and protect the region in order to provide the springs for Situ Cisanti and to give beneficial especially for the local and generally for the West Java society.The struggle of change agent and the society can be inspiration for the students to understand, conscious, care, and take action to preserve the environment.
