Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pembangunan bendungan di Kecamatan Jatigede yang menyebabkan hilangnya lahan pertanian dan perumahan sehingga masyarakat petani harus mencari pekerjaan baru. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh pembangunan bendungan terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat petani di Kecamatan Jatigede. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dari pembangunan bendungan Jatigede terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat petani di Kecamatan Jatigede. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen dan diuji menggunakan rumus product moment. Temuan dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Keberadaan pembangunan bendungan memberikan dampak terhadap lingkungan, dan fasilitas umum. (2) Adanya perubahan mata pencaharian, penghasilan, dan kepemilikan fasilitas hidup, serta persepsi masyarakat terhadap pendidikan sangat tinggi. (3) pembangunan bendungan Jatigede memiliki hubungan terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat petani. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bagi program pendidikan sosiologi adalah sebagai bahan pembelajaran dalam mata kuliah perubahan sosial budaya, serta menjadi contoh implikatif bagi teori perubahan sosial, khususnya teori dari Mc Clelland.; This research was motivated by the construction of dams in the district Jatigede. Jatigede dam construction led to the loss of agricultural land and housing so that the farming community must find a new job. The problems of this study are how the construction of a dam on the socioeconomic conditions of farming communities in the District Jatigede. the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the construction of the dam is there Jatigede the socioeconomic conditions of farming communities in the District Jatigede. This research is a quantitative research using questionnaires as instrument and tested using the formula of product moment. Result from the study show that: (1) construction of the dam Jatigede effect on the environment and public facilities. (2) a change in livehood, income, and living facilities ownership and perceptions of higher education. (3) the construction of large dams Jatigede berpengaruh the socioeconomic conditions of farming communities. The implications of this research for the sociology of education program is as a learning material in the course of socio-cultural changes, as well as being an example implikatif for the theory of social change, particularly the theory of Mc Clelland.
