Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Konflik Jerman Dengan Uni Soviet Di Ukraina (Suatu Kajian Geopolitik Ukraina dalam Perang Dunia II 1941-1944)”. Masalah utama yang diangkat dalam skripsi ini adalah “Mengapa geopolitik Ukraina memiliki arti penting bagi Jerman dan Uni Soviet?”. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis dengan empat langkah penelitian, yaitu heuristik, kritik terhadap sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Pendekatan yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan interdisipliner dengan menggunakan teori dari ilmu politik, ilmu geografi dan ilmu sosiologi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori perang, geopolitik dan konflik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditemukan beberapa temuan. Pertama, wilayah Ukraina merupakan penghubung antara Uni Soviet dengan negara Eropa lain, memiliki tanah yang subur, industrialisasi yang pada saat itu berkembang dengan baik, penduduk yang majemuk dan sumber daya yang melimpah. Kedua, keinginan Jerman untuk lebih dekat dengan pusat Uni Soviet dan penguasaan terhadap sumber daya alam dan manusia Ukraina. Bagi Uni Soviet kepentingannya di Ukraina adalah kebijakan geopolitik Uni Soviet yang menjadikan Ukraina sebagai A Forward Defense, menjaga agar ideologi komunis di Ukraina dan keinginan untuk mengeksplorasi sumber daya Ukraina. Ketiga, Jerman menduduki Ukraina setelah melakukan beberapa pertempuran dengan Uni Soviet di Ukraina dan merebut kota-kota penting disana. Pendudukan Ukraina oleh Jerman merubah sistem pemerintahan dan kondisi geografi Ukraina, serta pengeksplorasian sumber daya oleh pihak Jerman. Serangan Uni Soviet yang bertujuan mengusir Jerman dari Ukraina puncaknya dimulai pada tahun 1943-1944 dengan mengambil alih kota yang sempat diduduki oleh Jerman di Ukraina. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai pengembangan materi pada pembelajaran sejarah SMA kelas XI.;This essay entitled “Conflicts of Germany with the Soviet Union in Ukraine (A Study of Geopolitics of Ukraine in World War II from 1941-1944)”. The main issues raised in this essay is “why the Ukrainian geopolitical significance for Germany and the Soviet Union?”. The method used used is the historical method with the four steps of research, there are heuristics, criticism of sources, interpretation and historiography. The approach uses an interdisciplinary approach using the the theory of political science, geography and sociology. The theory used is the theory of war, geopolitics and conflicts. Based on the results of the study can be found some of the findings. First, the territory of Ukraine is the liaison between the Soviet Union with other European countries, has fertile soil, industrialization when it is well developed, diverse population and abundant resources. Second, the German desire to be closer to the center of the Soviet Union and the control of natural resources and people of Ukraine. For the Soviet Union, its interests in Ukraine is a geopolitical policy of the Soviet Union that made Ukraine as a forward defense, keeping the communist ideology in Ukraine, and the desire to explore the resources of Ukraine. Third, the Germans occupied Ukraine after several battles with the Soviet Union in Ukraine and seized important towns there. German occupation of Ukraine by changing the system of government and geography of Ukraine, and for exploring the resource by the Germans. The Soviet Union attacks aimed expel the Germans from Ukraine peak began in 1943-1944 with the takeover of the city wich was occupied by the Germans in Ukraine, the results of this study can be used as teaching material development in highschool history class XI.
