Abstract
Perkembangan industri manufaktur di Jawa Barat belakangan ini mengalami penurunan. Hal tersebut disebabakan akibat rendahnya kepuasan kerja para karyawannya, akibatnya perusahaan sulit untuk mencapai tujuannya. Salah satunya yang mengalami kepuasan kerja karyawan adalah PT. Karya Yusup di Bandung. Hal tersebut membuat PT. Karya Yusup menciptakan strategi untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan dengan meningkatkan lingkungan kerja sosial dan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran lingkungan kerja sosial, (2) mengetahui gambaran keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, (3) mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja, (4) mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, (5) mengetahui pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan dan (6) mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja sosial dan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Karya Yusup di Bandung. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Karya Yusup di Bandung. Variabel bebas (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah Lingkungan kerja sosial dan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, dan variabel terikat (Y) dari penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu teknik probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel 61 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi liniear berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 20.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran lingkungan kerja sosial dalam kategori sangat baik, gambaran keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja dalam kategori baik, gambaran kepuasan kerja dalam kategori baik, kepuasan kerja dipengaruhi secara positif oleh lingkungan kerja sosial, kepuasan kerja dipengaruhi secara positif oleh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, kepuasan kerja dipengaruhi secara positif oleh lingkungan kerja sosial dan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai dasar untuk dilakukannya penelitian lain mengenai lingkungan kerja sosial dan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja dengan indikator dan objek yang berbeda. ; The development of manufacturing industries in West Java has a lately decreased. The causes of they are due of their lack about job satisfaction from their employees, as a result the company has difficulties to achieve an objectives. One of experiencesfrom PT Karya Yusup in Bandung is an employee’s satisfactions. It makes PT Karya Yusup creating the strategies to improve employee job satisfaction by social work environment and occupational health and safety. This study aims to (1) find out the description of Social Work Environment, (2) find out the description of The Occupational Health and Safety, (3) find out the description of Job Satisfaction, (4) find out the effect of Social Work Environment on job satisfaction, (5) find out the effect of The Occupational Health and Safety on job satisfaction and (6) find out the influence of social work environment and the occupational health and safety on job satisfaction in PT. karya Yusup in Bandung. The unit of analysis object in this study was employees of PT Karya Yusup. The independent variable (X) in this study was the social work environment and occupational health and safety, and the dependent variable (Y) of the study was the job satisfaction. The study uses descriptive, verificative technique and the method used is explanatory survey with probability sampling technique, with a total sample of 61 employees. Data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression with SPSS computer software tools 20.0 for windows.The result of this research is about social work environmentin good category, occupational health and safety in good category, job satisfactionin good category, and job satisfaction is positively influenced by the social work environment, job satisfaction is positively influenced by the occupational health and safety, job satisfaction is positively influenced by the social work environment and occupational health and safety. Based on the result of this research, it is recommended as the basic for other research about social work environment and occupational health and safety with different indicators and objects.
