Abstract

Pembinaan keagamaan merupakan program unggulan sekolah yang diterapkan di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung. Sebagai sekolah reguler, tentu siswa yang bersekolah di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung ini terdiri dari berbagai latar belakang agama dan keluarga yang berbeda. Walaupun bukan merupakan sekolah berbasis agama tertentu, namun SMP Negeri 44 Bandung memiliki kelebihan dalam segi agama karena mampu menerapkan pembinaan keagamaan terhadap siswanya. Pembinaan keagamaan yang diterapkan kental dengan ajaran agama Islam karena mayoritas siswa yang bersekolah di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung adalah muslim. Namun, sekolah juga menerapkan pembinaan keagamaan bagi siswa non muslim. Melalui pembinaan keagamaan, sekolah berupaya untuk mengarahkan siswa agar dapat membiasakan diri melaksanakan kegiatan positif, dan berperilaku sesuai dengan norma agama maupun norma hukum yang berlaku di masyarakat. Selain itu, melatih siswa untuk menumbuhkan toleransi antar umat beragama dan saling menghargai dalam perbedaan. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti bertujuan untuk mengkaji mengenai pengembangan sikap toleransi melalui pembinaan keagamaan dalam memantapkan watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) siswa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasusdan pengambilan data diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pembinaan keagamaan yang diterapkan di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung terdiri dari pembinaan keagamaan untuk siswa muslim dan non muslim; 2) Pembinaan keagamaan dilaksanakan setiap hari secara rutin pada pagi dan siang hari; 3) Bentuk pengembangan sikap toleransi siswa dapat diamati dari perkataan dan perbuatan yang ditunjukkan oleh siswa selama pelaksanaan pembinaan keagamaan, pembelajaran PKn, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PMR; 4) Kebijakan sekolah, keteladanan guru, kesadaran diri sendiri, serta lingkungan yang kondusif menjadi faktor pendukung pengembangan sikap toleransi siswa. Sedangkan, kurang harmonis di lingkungan keluarga, egoisme dan pengaruh negatif teman menjadi faktor penghambatnya.;Religious development is a program featured which applied in SMP Negeri44 bandung. As a regular school, students who learn in this school came from different family and religion background. Although this school not a school base on specific religion,but this school really good in religious aspect because it is able to apply a spiritual habituation.Religious developmentis thick with the teachings of Islam because mostly students in this school are moslem. But this school is also apply religious developmentfor non-moslem students. Trough spiritual habituation program, the school try to make students to habituate their own self do positives activities and behave as religion norms and law norms command to community. Besides that, this program also train student to build religious tolerance and respect each others among diversity. Therefore, researcher try to know the depelovement of students tolerance through religious developmentas an effort to build civic disposition. This research use qualitative approach and case study method. Data collecting is trough interview, observation, and documentation study. The result shows that 1) religious developmentin SMP Negeri 44 Bandung can be classified as spiritual habituation for moslem and for non moslem. 2) religious development held each day in the morning and afternoon. 3) improvement of student tolerance can be seen by what they said and what they do during implementation of religious development, civic education learning, and Junior Red Cross Yourth extracurricular activities. 4) School policies, teacher role model, self awareness, and conducive environment are becomes the supporting factor of students tolerance improvement. Meanwhile, disharmony family, selfish, and peer influence are becomes the inhibiting factor.
