Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin pesat dan persaingan bisnispun semakin ketat. Salah satu cara perusahaan untuk meningkatkan penjualan adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi e-commerce dimana bisa memasarkan produknya secara luas, praktis dan efisien. Namun pembuatan aplikasi e-commerce yang tidak memperhatikan tampilan dan kegunaan dari task aplikasi maka akan membuat para pengguna menjadi kecewa dan bisa berpindah ke e-commerce lainnya. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan pembangunan aplikasi e-commerce yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dengan cara menerapkan metode Task Centered User Interface Design (TCUID) untuk optimasi tingkat usability (effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction). Setelah dilakukan pengukuran tingkat usability dengan tiga komponen usabilty measure sehingga menghasilkan dua versi perangkat lunak, karena perkembangan aplikasi dibatasi menjadi dua versi setelah tingkat optimasi usability dirasakan sudah meningkat saat dilakukan evaluasi pada saat pengukuran efficiency dan satisfaction. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kenaikan hasil perhitungan melalui metric performansi, yakni pada perhitungan standar deviasi metric time on task, pada versi 1.1 nilai standar deviasi 4,77 (task pelanggan) dan 3,26 (task admin) dan terjadi penurunan nilai pada Kaffa versi 1.2 menjadi 4,20 (task pelanggan) dan 2,88 (task admin). Oleh karenanya terbukti bahwa terjadi peningkatan performansi, dimana semakin kecil nilai standar deviasi maka semakin tinggi nilai performansi dari aplikasi. Pada tingkat usability dari kepuasan pengguna (satisfaction) juga mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari komentar positif dari pengguna. ; The development of information and communication technologies is rapidly increasing and bussiness competition is even getting tighter. One of company ways to increase selling is by using E-Commerce applications where they can promote their products widely, practical and efficient. However, the making of e-commerce application that do not pay attention to the look and usability of the application task will make the users disappointed and can switch to another e-commerce. Therefore, it takes e-commerce application development in accordance with the needs of users by applying Task Centered User Interface Design (TCUID) method to optimize usability level (effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction). After having done measuring the level of usability with three usabilty measure components, it produces two software versions. After optimization level of usability is felt has increased at the time of the evaluation when the measurement of efficiency and satisfaction thus, the development of applications is limited to two versions. it can be seen from the increase in the calculation results through the metric of performance, that is in the standard deviation metric calculation of time on task, in version 1.1, the standard deviation value is 4.77 (customer task) and 3.26 (task admin) while it decreases in Kaffa version 1.2; it becomes 4.20 (customer task) and 2, 88 (task admin). Therefore, it is proven that there happens performance increase where the smaller standard deviation, the higher performance value of the application. The usability level of user satisfaction also increases. It is seen from positive feedbacks from the users .
