Abstract

Data aktivitas belajar siswa diolah melalui langkah: reduksi data, klasifikasi data, display data, interpretasi & penarikan kesimpulan. Data motivasi belajar siswa diolah melalui rumus persentasi motivasi belajar. ; This research is motivated by the low activity of learning and student learning outcomes resulting flawed teachers choose learning approach. It is reinforced by data showing that only 22% of student who graduated KKM in science subjects. This study aims to describe the implementation of PAKEM through MASTER strategies to improve student’s motivation primary school. The research methods used was classroom action research models Kemmis and Mc.Taggart in the implementation of three cycles. 28 study participants 4c grade students SDN SKJ 9 Bandung. Data were collected through observation. Observations carried out on learning to get the data of student learning activities and student motivation. Student learning activity data processed through the steps: data reduction, data classification, data display, interpretation and conclusion the data is processed through the student’s motivation to learn the motivation percentage formula. The result showed and increase and a decrease in motivation learning science by applying PAKEM approach through strategies MASTER. Increase the duration of the activity aspect of 54,5% in the second cycle and decreased 10,4% in the third cycle, increased persistence of 17,9% in the second cycle and increased 10,7% in the third cycle, an increased of 35,7% grit on the second cycle and increased by 32,3%, 10,7% decline in devotion on the second cycle and a decrease of 0,02% in the third cycle, improved attitudes toward 57,2% in the second cycle and a decrease of 3,6% in the third cycle average motivation in the first cycle by 70%, with both categories, on the second cycle of 90%, with excellent category, and the third cycle of 96,7%, with the excellent category. While the percentage for classical learning completeness last 95% to the second cycle and the third cycle decreased to 90%. From this, it can be concluded that learning science by applying PAKEM through MASTER strategy can be to increase students motivation in learning science in the fourth grade of primary school. However, before implementing the learning needs to be planned inadvance by preparing a lesson plan carefully. Thus, serves as operational guidelines learning.
