Abstract

Memuji merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan hampir setiap hari. Memuji dilakukan oleh manusia di setiap negara. Namun bagaimana cara memuji di setiap negara pastinya berbeda, hal tersebut akan sesuai dengan budaya dan kebiasaan yang ada di negara tersebut. Oleh karenanya, dilakukan penelitian analisis kontrastif ini untuk mengetahui persamaan dan perbedaan ungkapan memuji di setiap negara khususnya dalam bahasa Jepang dan bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana ungkapan memuji dalam bahasa Jepang dan bahasa Indonesia dalam melihat penampilan seseorang, kemampuan bekerja dan kepemilikan orang lain. Serta untuk mengetahui persamaan dan perbedaan diantara keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kontrastif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini ialah dengan menyebarkan angket ke 10 orang mahasiswa Jepang baik yang tinggal di Jepang maupun di Indonesia dan 10 orang mahasiswa Indonesia diluar Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang UPI dengan batas usia antara 20 -22 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat beberapa macam ungkapan memuji yang diucapkan oleh penutur asli Jepang dan penutur asli Indonesia. Persamaan tindak tutur ungkapan ini ialah keduanya sama-sama memerhatikan kepada siapa ungkapan memuji itu ditujukan dan memerhatikan pembagian penggunaan berdasarkan lawan tutur. Perbedaannya adalah bahwa kebanyakan penutur asli Jepang menggunakan bentuk tutur ekspresif, sedangkan kebanyakan penutur asli Indonesia menggunakan bentuk tutur assertif.; Praising is an action being done almost everyday by human. Praising is being done by human in every part of the world. But, the way of how people do praising is surely vary in every countries. That becomes the reason of why this Analytical Comparison Speech act is being conducted to figure out the similarity and the differences of praising expressions in each countries, especially in Japanese and Indonesian languages. The purpose of this research is to figure out how the praising expressions against one’s appearance, the ability of working, and one’s possessions are in Japanese and Indonesian languages. This research is also being conducted to figure out the similarity and the differences between the two. The method that was being used for this research was descriptive comparison. The technic of collecting data that was being used was by spreading questionnaires to 10 Japanese people both that was living in Japan and Indonesia, and 10 Indonesia people more that was outside the Japanese Language Education Department of Indonesia University of Education territory (age : 20 -22 years). The result of this research is that there are several variations of praising that is being said by Japanese native speaker and Indonesian native speaker. The similarity of this way of speech expressions is that both are putting the focus to the who the praise is being directed to. The differences are that the Japanese native speakers mostly use expressive, while Indonesian native speakers mostly use assertive.
