Abstract

Fenomena yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan pada data nilai Praktik Kerja Industri siswa SMK Negeri 11 Bandung, dirumuskan sebagai berikut: “bagaimana pengaruh layanan bimbingan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian akuntansi SMK Negeri 11 Bandung tahun ajaran 2015/2016”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan layanan bimbingan karier dan kesiapan kerja dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan bimbingan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian akuntansi SMK Negeri 11 Bandung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif verifikatif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Jumlah anggota populasi berjumlah 129 siswa, diambil sampel dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling yaitu sebanyak 93 orang responden. Angket yang digunakan adalah angket model skala numerik. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas yang merupakan syarat uji statistik parametrik, yaitu korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment, didapatkan bahwa harga rxy = 0,607. Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh sebesar 36,9%, artinya layanan bimbingan karier mempengaruhi 36,9% kesiapan kerja seorang siswa. Sisanya 63,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya seperti kematangan fisik dan mental, minat, bakat, intelegensi, informasi dunia kerja dan pengalaman kerja yang perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Dan dari perhitungan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 7,2863 > ttabel (α = 0,05) = 1,662. Artinya, layanan bimbingan karier berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja. Kata kunci: layanan bimbingan karier, kesiapan kerja. The phenomenon in this research is based on students’ scores on Practical Industrial Work in SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. The main problem is: “How the influence of carrier counseling service toward work readiness of XII grade students in accounting skill competence is. The aims of this research are to describe the carrier counseling service and the work readiness of XII grade students and to know how carrier counseling service influences work readiness of XII grade students in accounting skill competence in Bandung 11 vocational school 2015/2016. The research method is verificative descriptive. The data collection technique uses questionnaire. There are 129 students as the respondent in the research population, then the samples are taken by using proportionate random sampling technique from 93 respondents. The questionnaire model is numeric scale. The data analysis employs normality experiment which is the terms of parametric statistic experiment. It is a product moment correlation from Pearson. The calculation result of correlation coefficient which uses product moment correlation formula shows that the value of rxy = 0,607.Calculation result of determination coefficient is 36,9%. It means that carrier counseling service gives 36,9% influence towards student’s work readiness, while the 63,1% left is influenced by another factors, namely physical and mental maturity, interest, talent, intelligence, job information, and job experience that have to be examined deeper. Based on the t-test calculation result, it shows tstatistic = 7,2863> ttable (α = 0,05) = 1,662. It can be concluded that carrier counseling service influences work readiness positively.
