Abstract

Persaingan dunia usaha yang semakin kompetitif, menuntut perusahaan untuk memiliki kinerja yang tinggi. Peningkatan kinerja sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam memperbaiki keberhasilan perusahaan, sehingga perlu diupayakan secara terus menerus dan berkesinambungan dalam menghadapi dunia global terutama pada industri ekpor impor di Indonesia. Kemampuan dan motivasi kerja dijadikan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di bagian produksi PT. Sentosa Hastareksa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta pengaruh kemampuan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan bagian produksi PT. Sentosa Hastareksa. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan produksi PT. Sentosa Hastareksa. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan dan motivasi kerja, serta variabel terikat yaitu kinerja karyawan dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 141 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi liniear berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 22.0 for windows. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian menyatakan bahwa kemampuan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan tingkat pengaruh kemampuan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan kuat. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan. Competition increasingly competitive business world, requires companies to have a high performance. Improved performance of human resources (HR) is very important in improving a company's success, it needs to be pursued continuously and sustained of global world imports, especially in the export industry in Indonesia. The ability and motivation to work used as a way to improve the performance of employees in the production at PT. Sentosa Hastareksa. The research aimed to describe the ability, work motivation on employee performance and the effect of ability and work motivation on employee’s performance in production departement of PT. Sentosa Hastareksa. The object of this research is the production employees of PT. Sentosa Hastareksa. The independent variable in this research is the ability and work motivation, and the dependent variable is the performance of employees with this type of research is descriptive, verification, and the method used is explanatory survey with simple random sampling technique with a sample of 141 respondents. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with computer software tools SPSS 22.0 for Windows. The results obtained in the research stated that the ability and motivation effect the performance of employees. And the level of effect the ability and motivation to work towards a strong employee performance. From the results of research on hypothesis testing showed that the ability and work motivation to have a positive effect on employee performance.
