Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pengetahuan siswa mengenai kata serapan yang sering dipakai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tanpa disadari masyarakat sering menggunakan kata serapan khususnya dalam percakapan antar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kata serapan dalam karangan percakapan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Negeri 6 Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu instrumen tes dan kartu data. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ada 74 kata serapan dalam karangan percakapan siswa. Kata serapan tersebut berasal dari bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing (bahasa Arab, bahasa Portugis, bahasa Inggris, bahasa Belanda, dan bahasa Sangsakerta). Kata serapan dapat terbentuk kata tunggal, kata tiruan, dan kata majemuk. Jenis kata serapan seperti kata benda, kata kerja, dan kata sifat. Setelah dilakukan pengumpulan data yang diperoleh. Kata serapan tersebut dianalisis berdasarkan jumlah kata serapan, asal kata serapan, jenis kata, warna kata, dan arti kata serapan. Dengan demikian terbukti bahwa banyak kata serapan yang digunakan siswa dalam percakapan sehari-hari ---------- This research is motivated by the lack of student knowledge about the loan word that is often used daily life. Unwittingly, people often use the word uptake, especially in the conversation between fellow. Similarly, also occurred in the school environment, particularly in the student conversation. This study aims to determine how many students who use the word essay conversation uptake in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Bandung. The method used is descriptive. Source of data in this study is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Bandung. The instruments used in data collection that instrument tests and data cards. Data obtained using the t test analysis and analyzed using a data card. Based on the research that has been done, said uptake were found in students' essays conversation about 74 words serepan consisting of Indonesian and foreign languages. After collecting data by t test obtained 74 words uptake. Each loan word consisting of Indonesian and foreign language are then analyzed by the number of words uptake, root uptake, kind words, color words, and the meaning of the word uptake. Thus evident that many students used loan word in everyday conversation.
