Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari pentingnya penggunaan media pendidikan dalam pembelajaran, khususnya berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pemanfaatan media ICT di sekolah. Namun dalam memanfaatkan media ICT, harus didukung dengan fasilitas serta kemampuan guru dan siswa dalam memanfaatkan media tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis informasi tentang pemanfaatan media ICT dalam pembelajaran yang mencakup kompetensi guru dan siswa, pelaksanaan dan hambatan, sarana prasarana pendukung, serta kompetensi PKn yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 13 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilandasi teori tentang media pembelajaran (Kemp and Dayton), dan ICT sebagai media pembelajaran (Karsenti). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, studi dokumentasi, angket, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru PKn diharuskan untuk: 1) Memahami teknologi terkini, 2) Memanfaatkan media ICT dalam pembelajaran baik berupa penggunaan in focus, e learning, edmodo, 3) Memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengerjakan tugas melalui media internet, email, facebook, 4) Mengupload soal UJON, 5) membuat materi presentasi power point, 6) menguasai media ICT yang difasilitasi oleh sekolah, 7) serta memahami karakteristik media ICT. Selain itu siswa pun diwajibkan memiliki kemampuan dan kompetensi yang sama dengan guru dalam memanfaatkan media ICT. Fasilitas Media ICT yang digunakan untuk menunjang pembelajaran PKn antara lain: e-learning, edmodo, in focus, Aplikasi internet dan area hotspot, Sistem ujian secara online (UJON). Proses pemanfaatan media ICT dalam pembelajaran PKn meliputi kegiatan: Mempersiapkan proses pembelajaran dan media, Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PKn berlangsung di dalam kelas dengan menggunakan media ICT, Evaluasi melalui proses penilaian berbasis ICT melalui sistem online (UJON). Kompetensi Kewarganegaraan Siswa setelah memanfaatkan media ICT dalam Pembelajaran PKn meliputi aspek: Watak Kewarganegaraan (civic disposition), Pengetahuan Kewarganegaraan (civic knowledge), dan Civic Skill. Penulis menyimpulkan dan memberikan rekomendasi bahwa pemanfaatan media ICT berperan membina karakter Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa, oleh karena itu pemanfaatan media ICT baik di sekolah harus dikembangkan agar dapat membentuk karakter Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa yang lebih baik lagi untuk membentuk kepribadian bangsa yang lebih baik. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran PKN, Media ICT, Kompetensi Kewarganegaraan This study departed from the importance of the use of educational media in learning, particularly with regard to (Information and Communication Technology). Therefore, the need for the use of ICT in the school media. However, in using ICT media, must be supported by the facility and the ability of teachers and students in the use of the media. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze information about the use of ICT in the learning media that includes the competence of teachers and students, and barriers to implementation, infrastructure support, as well as Civics competencies held at SMK Negeri 13 Bandung. This study is based on the theory of learning media (Kemp and Dayton), and ICT as a learning medium (Karsenti).The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, document study, questionnaire, and the study of literature. The results showed that: Civics teachers are required to: 1) understand the latest technology, 2) media Utilizing ICT in learning in the form of the use of in focus, e learning, Edmodo, 3) Facilitating students to do the work through the medium of the internet, email, facebook, 4) Uploading UJON matter, 5) made a power point presentation materials, 6) media mastering ICT facilitated by the school, 7) as well as to understand the characteristics of ICT media. In addition, students were required to have the same ability and competence to teachers in using ICT media. Media ICT facilities are used to support learning Civics include: e-learning, Edmodo, in focus, application and internet hotspot, an online test system (UJON). Process of media use ICT in teaching civics activities include: Preparing and media learning, teaching Civics Implementation takes place in the classroom using ICT media, through the evaluation of ICT-based assessment process through the online system (UJON). Citizenship competencies students after the use of ICT in Teaching Civics media covering aspects: Nature of Citizenship (civic disposition), Knowledge Citizenship (civic knowledge), and Civic Skill. The authors concluded that the use of the media to provide recommendations to foster ICT plays the character of civic education students, therefore the use of ICT in school media must be developed in order to establish the character of Citizenship Education students better for shaping the personality of a better nation.
