Abstract

Project based learning (PjBL) merupakan pembelajaran yang mengembangkan pemahaman konsep melalui investigasi masalah yang bermakna dan dapat menghasilkan suatu produk. Model PjBL diteliti untuk dianalisis pengaruhnya terhadap berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi tumbuhan biji. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas X disalah satu SMA Kota Bandung. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen berjumlah 35 siswa dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 36 siswa. Analisis penelitian menggunakan t-test, N-Gain, uji korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan secara signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Sikap ilmiah siswa terjadi peningkatan lebih tinggi, namun tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa memiliki hubungan yang tinggi dengan keterampilan berpikir kreatif (r =0,75). Sikap ilmiah menunjukkan hubungan yang rendah terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif (r= 0,20 dan r =0,22). Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran berbasis proyek, berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, sikap ilmiah, tumbuhan biji Project based learning (PjBL) is a learning which develops an understanding concept through investigates the meaning problem and can produce a product. The reseach used a quasi experimental research design with the matching only pretest posttest control group design. The study population consisted of all students in the class X at one of senior high school in Bandung. The sample consisted of an experimental group with 35 students and a control group with 36 students. Research analysis used t-test, N-Gain, correlation and regression test. The reseach results showed that the project based learning can significantly improvement critical and creative thinking than the conventional learning. Scientific attitudes of students is higher had improvment, but did not showed significant differences. The ability of critical thinking skills towards creative thinking showed high correlation value (r=0,75). Scientific attitudes showed the low associated towards critical and creative thinking skills (r= 0,20 and r =0,22) Keywords: Project based learning, critical thinking, creative thinking, scientific attitudes, seed plants
