Abstract

Karakteristik yang dibutuhkan bagi pendayung rowing untuk mencapai prestasi yaitu adanya hubungan erat kemampuan fisik yang meliputi kemampuan aerobic capacity dan anaerobic capacity yang tinggi, koordinasi yang baik, kekuatan/strength, kecepatan, serta konsentrasi yang lama, dan keadaan biometrik fisik yang meliputi tinggi dan berat badan, serta panjang lengan. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi diadakannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar persentase kontribusi yang diberikan aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity, dan muscular strength terhadap prestasi mendayung mesin rowing 2000 meter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriktif. Responden yang dipakai adalah atlet pelatnas dayung mesin rowing 2000 meter sebanyak 24 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah intrumen tes dengan menggunakan ergometer rowing dan beban, tes yang digunakan yaitu tes ergometer rowing 2000 meter untuk aerobic capacity, 500 meter untuk anaerobic capacity, dan tes 1 RM untuk muscular strength. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data diperoleh adanya kontribusi positif sebesar 89,11% antara aerobic capacity terhadap prestasi mendayung mesin rowing 2000 meter, adanya kontribusi positif sebesar 74,30% antara anaerobic capacity terhadap prestasi mendayung mesin rowing 2000 meter, dan adanya kontribusi positif sebesar 42,12% antara muscular strength terhadap prestasi mendayung mesin rowing 2000 meter, sedangkan dari ketiga variabel tersebut terdapat kontribusi positif sebesar 99,20% antara aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity dan muscular strength secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi mendayung mesin rowing 2000 meter. Bagi para pelatih atau pembina cabang olahraga dayung rowing hendaknya memperhatikan komponen-komponen kondisi fisik yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kebutuhan cabang olahraganya. The results of processing and analysis of data obtained by the positive contribution 89,11% between aerobic capacity for achievement rowing machine rowing 2000 meters, the positive contributions 74,30% among the anaerobic capacity of achievement rowing machine rowing 2000 meters, and the positive contribution 42,12% between muscular strength of the achievements of rowing machine rowing 2000 meters, while of these three variables are positive contributions 99,20% between aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity and muscular strength together towards achievement of a 2000 meter rowing rowing machine. Trainers or coaches rowing paddle sports should pay attention to the components of physical condition in accordance with the demands of the sport branch.
