Abstract
Perkembangan motorik setiap anak akan berbeda satu sama lainnya, baik anak pada umumnya ataupun anak berkebutuhan khusus. Anak cerebral palsy memiliki kebutuhan khusus dalam aspek perkembangan motorik. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran mengenai pelaksanaan latihan keseimbangan dengan menggunakan wobble board bagi anak cerebral palsy spastik di SLB Risantya Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SLB Risantya dengan tiga orang subjek, yaitu terhadap satu orang guru KR, dan dua orang anak cerebral palsy spastik SN dan LK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hambatan serta upaya dalam pelaksanaan latihan keseimbangan dengan menggunakan wobble board. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dalam perencanaan pelaksanaan latihan keseimbangan guru melakukan asesmen, serta hasil asesmen digunakan untuk membuat program. Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan latihan keseimbangan menggunakan wobble board disebabkan karena kemampuan anak dalam melakukan gerakan, kemampuan komunikasi serta perilaku anak. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut yaitu guru melakukan komunikasi secara verbal dan non-verbal berupa gesture serta prompt secara fisik. Children with cerebral palsy have special needs in motor developmental area. Focus of this research is to give an overview of balance exercise implementation using a wobble board for children with cerebral palsy spastic in SLB Risantya Bandung. The study is carried out at SLB Risantya Bandung with three subject that one teacher KR and two children with cerebral palsy spastik SN and LK. The purpose of this study is to gain an overview of planning, implementation, obstacles, and effort during balance exercise implementation using a wobble board. The research method applied in this study is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data was collected by interview, observation, and study documentation. Validity of this research applied by triangulation. The result obtained that planning of balance exercise implementation that teacher doing assesment and the result is used to create a program. Obstacles during implementation caused by childrens’ skill of doing movement, communication skill and childrens’ behavior. The effort to overcome these obstacles was done through communication verbally and non-verbal with gesture, make effort in a certain direction, and physical prompt.
