Abstract
Penelitian yang berjudul “Pengembangan Tes Tertulis Indo-Cambridge Kelas XI SMA pada Materi Pokok Sistem Imun” bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat tes tertulis yang mengadaptasi karakteristik tes tertulis Biology Cambridge AS Level dan berdasarkan komposisi Taksonomi Bloom Revisi yang muncul, namun standar isi dan materinya masih mengacu pada kurikulum KTSP. Perangkat tes tertulis yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 25 butir soal pilihan ganda dan 7 butir soal uraian terstruktur. Metode deskriptif digunakan karena mendeskripsikan karakteristik soal Biologi Cambridge AS Level, kemudian mendeskripsikan pula hasil pengembangan tes tertulis Indo-Cambridge tentang kualitas tes, meliputi validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes Indo-Cambridge yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria validitas isi dan reliabilitas tes tinggi. Validitas butir soal rata-rata dianggap memadai. Taraf kesukaran rata-rata berkategori sedang. Daya pembeda rata-rata berkategori cukup untuk pilihan ganda dan berkategori baik untuk uraian terstruktur. Efektivitas pengecoh rata-rata pada pilihan ganda berfungsi cukup efektif. Selain itu, berdasarkan respon siswa, soal Indo-Cambridge yang dikembangkan dianggap sulit namun menantang dan menarik karena lebih variatif serta hal baru bagi mereka bila dibandingkan dengan soal-soal Biologi yang biasa diberikan guru. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi perspektif baru tentang evaluasi pembelajaran Biologi dan panduan guru untuk menggunakan serta mengembangkan sendiri evaluasi serupa. Kata kunci: Biology Cambridge AS Level, Indo-Cambridge, Sistem Imun, Kualitas Soal Research entitled “Development Indo-Cambridge Written Test for Senior High School XI Class on Immunity System” aimed to develop written test set which adapted from characteristic of Biology Cambridge AS Level written test and the composition of Bloom’s Taxonomy Revision, but the Content Standard and matter still refer to KTSP curriculum. Written test set consist of 25 multiple choice items and 7 structured questions. Descriptive’s method used to describe the characteristic of Biology Cambridge AS Level written test and the result of quality development Indo-Cambridge written test, include validity, reliability, difficulty level, discriminating level, and distractor efectivity. The result of research shows that Indo-Cambridge written test up to standard of content validity and high reliable. Average-Validity items categorized good. Difficulty level of items categorized medium. Discriminating level of multiple choice items is enough good and good for structured questions. Besides, according to student’s responses, they said that Indo-Cambridge written test is difficult but more challenging and has more variation than usual Biology’s items evaluation. The result of this research hopefully can give new perspective in Biology’s evaluation and can guide teachers to use and to develop the same evaluation by themselves.
