Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis adanya keterkaitan strategi metakognisi terhadap penguasaan konsep dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMA dalam pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2015, menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Utara, SMA Negeri 2 Tambun Utara, SMK Kesehatan Zam-zam Kurnia, dan SMK Keperawatan Satria Nusantara, Kec. Tambun Utara, Kab. Bekasi tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 100 orang siswa kelas XI yang telah mempelajari materi sistem reproduksi manusia yang diambil secara two stage random sampling, yaitu dengan mengkombinasikan antara cluster random sampling dengan individual random sampling. Data penguasaan konsep diambil dengan metode tes, data sikap ilmiah dikumpulkan dengan skala Likert, dan data strategi metakognisi siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner. Data strategi metakognisi digunakan untuk mengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan kecenderungan strategi metakognisi yang digunakan siswa (Self-awareness (A), Modifying (B), dan Imitation Strategies (C)). Data dianalisis dengan MANOVA menggunakan bantuan Software SPSS 20. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Rerata penguasaan konsep dan sikap ilmiah siswa antar ketiga tipe strategi metakognisi berbeda, 2) Perbedaan nilai yang signifikan ditemukan pada penguasaan konsep siswa, namun tidak ditemukan pada sikap ilmiah siswa, 3) strategi metakognisi memiliki keterkaitan terhadap perolehan nilai penguasaan konsep namun tidak terkait signifikan terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa, 4) Keterkaitan terhadap varians nilai penguasaan konsep terlihat pada penggunaan strategi metakognisi A dan C, 5) Keterkaitan juga terlihat pada hasil jenjang kognitif C1, C2, C3, dan C4 pada strategi metakognisi A yang lebih tinggi dari kedua strategi metakognisi lainnya. Kata Kunci: Strategi Metakognisi, Penguasaan Konsep, Sikap Ilmiah, Sistem Reproduksi Manusia The aim of the research was to analysis of relevancy metacognition strategies toward mastery of concepts and scientific attitude of high school students in learning human reproductive system. Research was conducted in May 2015, with Descriptive method. Population was 11th grade students of SMAN 1 North Tambun, SMAN 2 North Tambun, Secondary Vocational School of Health Zam-zam Kurnia, and Secondary Vocational School of Nursing Satria Nusantara, Subdistrict North Tambun, Bekasi, academic year 2014/2015. The sample consisted of 100 students of 11th grade high school who had been studying human reproductive system in biology major, with two stage random sampling that combined between cluster random sampling and individual random sampling. The data were collected by test method for mastery of concepts, Scientific Attitude Scale, and Metacognition Strategy Questionnaire. Questionnaire of Metacognition Strategy used to classify students into some group (students with Self-awareness Strategies (A), Modifying Strategies (B), and Imitation Strategies (C)). Data were analysed by MANOVA using Software SPSS 20. The analysis showed that: 1) the mean mastery of concepts and scientific attitude of students were different for metacognition strategies types, 2) difference score was significant for mastery of concepts but not found in the scientific attitude of students, 3) metacognition strategies had relevance with acquisition score of mastery of concepts but does not for scientific attitude of students, 4) Metacognition strategies A and metacognition strategies C was relevant of the score of the mastery of concepts, 5) Metacognition strategies was relevant with score of taxonomy of cognitive C1, C2, C3, and C4.
