Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah masih banyaknya siswa yang belum mencapai standar nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) yakni dari 34 siswa hanya 2 orang yang memiliki nilai diatas 2,67 dan 32 orang lainnya memiliki rata-rata nilai dibawah 2,67, sedangkan standar KKM yang diterapkan adalah 2,67 dan penggunaan metode pembelajaran ceramah yang dianggap kurang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) Pada Mata Diklat Dasar Pengukuran Listrik di Kelas X TITL 1 SMK Negeri 4 Bandung. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan instrument yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes hasil belajar ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Hal tersebut dapat ditunjukkan dari hasil perhitungan gain dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa, untuk aspek kognitif diperoleh gain sebesar 44% pada Siklus I, 64% pada Siklus II dan 66 % pada Siklus III, dan berdasarkan perhitungan sudah 93,75 siswa memiliki rata-rata nilai lebih besar dari nilai KKM yaitu 2,67 baik dalam aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) Pada Mata Diklat Dasar Pengukuran Listrik efektif dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, Hasil Belajar, Dasar Pengukuran Listrik Background of the problems in this research is the number of students who have not fulfilled the standards of completeness minimum value criteria (KKM) such from 34 students only 2 people who have a grade point average above 2.67 and 32 others have a grade point average below 2.67, while standards of completeness minimum value criteria (KKM) that is applied is 2,67 and use the lecture method of teaching is considered less effective in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. Based on this background, This research aims to improve the student motivation and learning outcomes through the implementation of problem based learning model (Problem Based Learning) on basis of electrical measurement subjects in Grade X, TITL 1, SMKN 4 Bandung (Public Vocational High School 4 of Bandung). The method used to analyze the data is by using descriptive analysis and the instruments used to collect data with the test results on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. It can be shown from the calculation of the gain and the average student learning result, for cognitive obtained a gain of 44 in the first cycle, 64% in cycle II and 66% in cycle III, and based on the calculations are 93.75 students have an average value greater than standards of completeness minimum value criteria (KKM) is 2,67 on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of problem based learning model (Problem Based Learning) on the basic of electrical Measurement subject is effective and able to improve the student learning outcomes.
