Abstract

Homeschooling merupakan sebuah program belajar mandiri di rumah, setiap karakter khas anak dan perkembangan dirinya selalu di pantau oleh orang tua secara personal. Komunitas Homeschooling Taman Sekar Bandung memiliki metode pembelajaran secara tutorial. Komunitas homeschooling sebagai fasilitator membantu melakukan perencanaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi melalui kegiatan tutorial yang dilaksanakan dua kali seminggu sisanya belajar di rumah. Sehingga dengan bantuan fasilitator saat kegiatan tutorial hak peserta didik untuk mendapatkan pengajaran dapat diperhatikan. Maka timbul ketertarikan peneliti untuk meneliti mengenai peran fasilitator pada pengelolaan program pembelajaran, sehingga penulis mendapatkan gambaran bagaimana peran fasilitator dalam mengelola pembelajaran homescooling yang dilakukan oleh para fasilitator di Homeschooling Taman Sekar Bandung. Untuk itulah dilakukan penelitian bagaimana program tersebut mampu memberdayakan masyarakat, dengan tujuanmendeskripsikan tahap-tahap pembentukannya, mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan pemberdayaannya, menganalisis komponen strategis dan peranan stakeholdres yang terkandung di dalamnya. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, pertama, konsep Homeschooling. Kedua, konsep peran fasilitator, ketiga, konsep pengelolaan program, keempat, konsep pembelajaran. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif lewat studi kasus dalam praktiknya yang data-data penelitiannya diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta didukung analisis data lewat kegiatan penyajian data, reduksi data, serta verifikasi. Subjek yang dijadikan sumber data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga (3) orang subjek: dua (2) orang fasilitator dan satu (1) orang penanggung jawab SMP yang dilakukan di Homeschooling Taman Sekar Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) gambaran perencanaan program pembelajaran dipandang cukup baik dimulai dari pembacaan karakterstik, memahami kurikulum, melihat dan menentukan materi, menentukan jadwal pertemuan, menentukan metode/strategi pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan ketertarikan peserta didik. (2) gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh fasilitator adalah menyampaikan materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan kebutuhan peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode-metode yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran untuk peserta didik di homescholing. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran, meliputi: kegiatan pendahuluan yaitu permainan, penjelasan materi, mengerjakan lembar kerja. (3) Pada tahap evaluasi pembelajaran fasilitator menggunakan dua alat ukur evaluasi yaitu: akademis dan performa peserta didik. (4) Tahapan terakhir pada proses pembelajaran yaitu kegiatan tindak lanjut. Kata Kunci: Homeschooling, fasilitator, pengelolaan program pembelajaran Homeschooling is a self learning program at home, any distinctive character and development of the child himself always monitored by the parents personally. Homeschooling community Taman Sekar Bandung has a tutorial learning method. Homeschooling community as a facilitator to help do the planning, monitoring and evaluation through tutorial activities carried out twice weekly rest home study. So help of a facilitator when tutorial activities rights of learners to acquire teaching can be considered. Then raised the interest of research to study the role of facilitator in the management of learning programs, so I get an idea of how the role of facilitator in managing the learning homeschooling conducted by the facilitators in Homeschooling Taman Sekar Bandung. For that conducted research into how the program is able to empower the community, with the aim of describing the stages of formation, described the implementation of the empowerment process, analyze strategic component and role stake holders contained therein. The basic theory used in this research are: first, the concept of homeschooling. Second the concept of the role of facilitator. Third, the concept of program management. The fourth, the concept of learning. Using qualitative research approach in practice through case studies that the research data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation and data analysis through activities supported presentation of data, data reduction, and verification. Subjects were used as source of data in this study consists of three (3) subjects: two (2) facilitators and one (1) person in charge of SMP were carried out in Homeschooling Taman Sekar Bandung. The results showed that, (1) an overview of planning learning programs deemed good enough characteristics of the beginning of the reading, understand the curriculum, see and determine the matter, determine a meeting schedule, determine methods /learning strategies tailored to the interests of learners. (2) Description of the implementation study undertaken by the facilitator is to deliver learning materials in accordance with the curriculum and the needs of learners by using appropriate methods to learning for learners in homeschooling. In the implementation of learning, including: preliminary activities are games, an explanation of material, worksheets. (3) In the evaluation phase of learning facilitator uses two measuring tools of evaluation are: academic and performance of learners. (4) The final stage in the learning process is the follow-up activities. Keywords: Homeschooling, facilitators, management of learning programs
