Abstract
Sektor industri kecil dan menengah merupakan sektor industri yang memiliki kontribusi besar dalam meningkatkan perekonomian daerah. Keberhasilan usaha dapat dinilai ketika suatu usaha berhasil mencapai tujuan atau sasaran yang ditetapkan. Sebagian besar keberhasilan usaha ditentukan oleh kompetensi kewirauahaan. Keberhasilan usaha pada industri emping melinjo di Kabupaten Cirebon mengalami penurunan dalam tiga tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini disusun untuk memperoleh temuan mengenai 1) bagaimana gambaran tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan pengusaha emping melinjo di Kabupaten Cirebon 2) bagaimana gambaran tingkat keberhasilan usaha pengusaha emping melinjo di Kabupaten Cirebon 3) bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pengusaha emping melinjo di Kabupaten Cirebon. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha emping melinjo di Kabupaten Cirebon. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi kewirausahaan (X) dan variabel terikat adalah keberhasilan usaha (Y). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif, metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan tekhnik simple random sampling dan jumlah responden sebanyak 57 orang. Tekhnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana, dengan alat bantu software computer SPSS 21.0 for windows. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian menyatakan bahwa kompetensi kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh sebesar 83,2% terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa kompetensi kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Penulis merekomendasikan upaya yang harus dilakukan pengusaha emping melinjo untuk mencapai keberhasilan usaha dengan memperhatikan kompetensi kewirausahaan yang dimiliki oleh pengusaha dan memaksimalkan keberhasilan usahanya. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Kewirausahaan, Keberhasilan Usaha Small and medium industrial sector is a sector which has a major contribution in improving the local economy. Business success can be judged as an attempt successfully achieve the goals or objectives set. Much of the success of a business is determined by kewirauahaan competence. The success of the venture industry in Cirebon melinjo decreased in the last three years. This study is structured to obtain findings regarding 1) how is the level of entrepreneurial competencies employers melinjo in Cirebon 2) how is the success rate of business entrepreneurs melinjo in Cirebon 3) the influence of entrepreneurial competence to business success businessman melinjo in Cirebon. The object of this research is the entrepreneur melinjo in Cirebon. The independent variable in this study is the entrepreneurial competence (X) and the dependent variable is the success of the business (Y). This type of research is descriptive and verification, the method used is explanatory survey with simple random sampling technique and the number of respondents as many as 57 people. Data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression, with the tools of computer software SPSS 21.0 for windows. The results obtained in the study stated that the entrepreneurial competence has the effect of 83.2% to the success of the business. From research to test the hypothesis can be seen that the entrepreneurial competence has a significant influence on the success of the business. The author recommends that efforts should be made businessman melinjo to achieve business success by taking into account the entrepreneurial competencies owned by businessman and maximize their business success.
