Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya daya saing yang rendah para pengelola sentra industri alas kaki Cibaduyut dalam menghadapi ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) yang akan diberlakukan pada bulan Desember 2015, hal ini dapat dilihat dengan menggunakan teori Diamond Porter’s yang memiliki empat indikator sebagai pengukurnya, yaitu Factor Condition, Demand Condition, Related and Supporting Industry, Firm Strategy, Structure and Rivalty dan Government. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui daya saing dan kesiapan para pengelola sentra alas kaki Cibaduyut dalam menghadapi AEC 2015. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah para pengusaha alas kaki di Cibaduyut. Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 11 perusahaan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kombinasi (Mixed Methods) dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpul data. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa kondisi sentra industri alas kaki Cibaduyut dilihat dari Factor Condition, Related and Supporting, Firm Strategy, Structure and Rivalty, industri alas kaki Cibaduyut memiliki daya saing yang rendah. Sedangkan jika dilihat dari Demand Condition sentra industri alas kaki Cibaduyut memiliki daya saing yang tinggi. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sentra industri alas kaki Cibaduyut memiliki daya saing yang rendah dan kurang siap dalam menghadapi ASEAN Economics Community 2015. Kata Kunci: ASEAN Economic Community, Diamond Porter’s, daya saing. The main issue that observed in this research is the low competitiveness of industries performerr in Cibaduyut facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) that will be started in December, 2015. This can be observed by using Diamond Porter’s theory which has four indicators as its parameters including Factors conditions, Demand Conditions, Related and Supporting Industry, Firm Strategy, Structure and Rivalty and the Government. The purpose of this research is to find out the competitiveness and readiness of the footwear idustrial performer in Cibaduyut facing the AEC 2015. The object of this research is the footwear businessman in Cibaduyut. The sample that observed are eleven company by using purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique. The methods that is used in this research is mixed method by using questionnaire and interview as the data collection instrument. Based on this research it can be observed that the cental footwear industries in Cibaduyut in terms of Factor condition, Demand Condition, Firm Strategy, and Structure and Rivalty, Cibaduyut footwear industries shows lack of competitiveness. While in terms of Demand Condition, it shows a good competitiveness. So it can be concluded that Cibaduyut footwear central industries still lack of competitiveness and unready facing the ASEAN Economic Communiy in 2015.
