Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan analogi dan generalisasi matematis siswa serta karakteristik kesalahan pada hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan Model-Eliciting Activities. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed method yang dilakukan terhadap 63 siswa kelas VIII dari salah satu SMP kota Bandung. Sampel tersebut terdiri dari siswa yang memperoleh Pembelajaran Model-Eliciting Activities dan siswa melalui pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik kurikulum 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan analogi dan generalisasi matematis siswa lebih baik menggunakan model Eliciting Activities daripada pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik pada kurikulum 2013, serta karakteristik kesalahan siswa berdasarkan indikator dari kedua kemampuan tersebut. Kata kunci: Karakteristik Kesalahan, Kemampuan Analogi, Kemampuan Generalisasi, Pembelajaran Model-Eliciting Activities. This study aims to determine the improvement of analogy and generalization capabilities and characteristics of students' mathematical errors on the learning outcomes of students who acquire learning with model-eliciting Activities. This study is a mixed method study conducted on 63 students of class VIII of one junior high school in Bandung. The sample consisted of students who obtain a model-eliciting Learning Activities and students through a scientific approach to learning with the curriculum of 2013. The results showed that an increase in the ability of students' mathematical analogy and generalize better to use models rather than learning by eliciting Activities scientific approach to the curriculum in 2013, and the characteristics student errors based on indicators of both these capabilities.
