Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya nilai hasil pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS hal ini ditandai dengan nilai KKM masih mencapai 5,4 target yang diharapkan 6,7 demikian pula cara guru melaksanakan pembelajaran masih bersifat konvensional yaitu hanya menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada Penerapan Metode Karyawisata pada mata pelajara IPS tentang Macam-macam Sumber daya alam untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah: (1) mengungkap penerapan Metode Karyawisata pada mata pelajaran IPS pada pokok bahasan Macam-macam Sumber Daya Alam dan (2) mengukap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS tentang Macam-macam Sumber Daya Alam. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan dua siklus, yang pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan dua tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sukawening Kecamatan Cikalongkulon Kabupaten Cianjur yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapakan Metode Karyawisata pada mata pelajaran IPS menunjukkan adanya peningkatan proses pembelajaran, terlihat siswa senang bekerja dalam kelompoknya masing-masing, demikian pula perolehan nilai siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS tentang Macam-macam Sumber Daya alam mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus pertama nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 6,48. Pada siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 8,70. Based on these problems, the research objectives to be achieved are: (1) reveal Leisure method application in social studies on the subject of Kinds of Natural Resources and (2) mengukap improving student learning outcomes in social studies about the Various Sources Natural Power. The method used in this research is a classroom action research (PTK) which adapts the model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart with two cycles, which in each cycle performed two acts. The subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sukawening Cikalongkulon District of Cianjur Regency, amounting to 24 students. Results of research by applying the method Leisure education in social studies showed an increase in the learning process, students look happy to work within their own group, as well as the acquisition value of students in social studies about Miscellaneous Natural Resources has increased. In the first cycle of the average value of students reached 6.48. In the second cycle increased the average value reached 8.70. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of a field method can improve student learning outcomes and more students become active.
