Abstract
Sistemproteksipetiradalahsejenisalatsistemproteksi yang berfungsiuntukmelindungiseluruh area yang dilindungidaribahayanyasambaranpetir yang bisamerusakdanmembahayakankeselamatanmanusia. SkripsiinibertujuanuntukmemperolehsistemperencanaanproteksipetirdenganmenggunakanmetodeEarly Streameruntukmemperolehpenggunaanalatproteksipetir yang tepat di daerahBunyudalamjumlahpenggunaanalatproteksipetir, dengantetapmemperhatikanaturan PUIPP ( PeraturanUmumProteksiPenyalurPetir) yang sudahbanyak di gunakan di Indonesia. Data yang digunakanadalah data rilberupalaporanAssesment Report Area Loading Terminal PT. Pertamina Field Bunyu – Kalimantan Utara Aset V. Padaperencanaanini, metode yang digunakanadalahmetodeEarly StreamerdimanametodeEarly Streameradalahmetodeterbaru. Metodeinimerupakanmetodedenganmelakukanpendekatansecaramatematikadenganmenggunakanindeks – indeksdari PUIPP (PeraturanUmumInstalasiPenyalurPetir) danjugaperhitungantersendiri.Berdasarkanhasilperhitungandenganmenggunakan excel didapatkanuntukmenentukankebutuhanjumlahproteksipetirbahwametodeEarly Streamersangattepatuntukdigunakan di daerahtersebut. Kata Kunci :ProteksiPetir, PUIPP , Assesment Report , Early Streamer Lightning protection systems is a type of tool protection system that serves to protect the entire area that is protected from the danger of lightning strikes that can damage and endanger human safety. This thesis aims to obtain planning system lightning protection using Early Streamer to obtain the use of appropriate lightning protection tool in Bunyu area in the number of lightning protection used, with due regard to the rules PUIPP (General Rules of Lightning Distribution Installation) which is already used widely in Indonesia. The data used is the real form of Assessment Report in Loading Terminal Area of PT. Pertamina Field Bunyu - North Borneo Asset V which has been installed. At this planning, the method used is the method of Early Streamer, where this method is the latest method. This method uses a mathematical approach by taking into account indexes of PUIPP (General Rules ofLightning Distribution Instalation) and also a separate calculation.Based on calculations uses excel obtained to determine the needs of number of lightning protection that Early Streamer method is more economical and efficient than protective devices already installed.
