    Abstract

    Persepsi siswa merupakan kesan yang diberikan siswa setelah melalui proses pengindraan. Di sekolah siswa mempersepsi banyak hal, salah satunya mata pelajaran. Persepsi siswa pada mata pelajaran diduga mempunyai hubungan dengan hasil belajar siswa. Mata pelajaran Sosiologi diajarkan di Sekolah Menengah Atas dan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diikut sertakan dalam Ujian Nasional, mengingat pentingnya pembelajaran Sosiologi untuk dikuasai siswa maka diharapkan proses pembelajarannya berlangsung secara efektif agar mampu mencapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan, namun pada kenyataannya di lapangan seringkali terjadi hal-hal yang membuat terganggunya proses pembelajaran tersebut. Hal ini berarti bahwa berhasil tidaknya pencapaian tujuan mata pelajaran Sosiologi banyak bergantung pada bagaimana proses belajar yang dialami siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan persepsi siswa tentang mata pelajaran Sosiologi dengan motivasi belajar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaf dengan metode deskriptif serta menggunakkan angket tertutup sebagai tekhik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang mata pelajaran sosiologi dengan motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi di SMAN 4 Cimahi. Hubungan persepsi siswa tentang mata pelajaran Sosiologi dengan mitivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi diperoleh nilai korelasi 0,676 termasuk dalam kategori kuat, variabel persepsi siswa dengan motivasi belajar sama-sama kuat sedangkan nilai yang diperoleh adalah positif. Hal ini menunjukkan kedua variabel adalah searah. ----------
    Perception of students is given the impression that the students after going through the process of sensing. At school students perceive many things, one of the subjects. Perceptions of students in subjects suspected of having a relationship with the student learning outcomes. Subjects Sociology taught in high school and one of the subjects included in the National Exam, given the importance of learning Sociology for master students, it is expected that the learning process is most effective to be able to achieve its intended purpose, but in reality on the ground often occurs case -it makes the disruption of the learning process. This means that the success of achieving the goal of subjects Sociology lot depends on how the learning process experienced by students. The aim of this study was to determine how much the relationship perceptions of students about subjects of Sociology with the motivation to learn. In this study, using a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and closed questionnaire as data collection. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between students' perception of the subjects of sociology with the motivation to learn the subjects of Sociology at SMAN 4 Cimahi. Relations student perceptions about subjects Sociology with motivation learning in the subjects Sociology 0.676 correlation values obtained are included in the category of strong, variable perception of students with the motivation to learn equally strong while the value obtained is positive. It shows the two variables is unidirectional.
