Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menanalisis struktur, kemunculan fakta dan proses transformasi pada desain kegiatan laboratotrium sistem respirasi dengan menggunakan instrumen diagram Vee (yang dikembangkan Novak & Gowin, 1984) dan instrumen kemunculan fakta dan proses transformasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan terlebih dahulu mengeksekusi DKL Sistem Respirasi yang berhasil dikumpulkan dari sejumlah SMP dan SMA Negeri di kota Bandung, terdiri dari 6 DKL SMP dan 21 DKL SMA. Setelah itu, DKL dianalisis menggunakan instrumen diagram Vee sehingga didapatkan rata-rata total skor diagram Vee pada DKL SMP ialah 8,17 sedangkan pada DKL SMA ialah 10,24. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur DKL SMP dan DKL SMA belum sesuai dengan kriteria ideal sesuai diagram Vee; total skor 18. Dari lima komponen diagram Vee yang ada didalam DKL, hanya komponen pertanyaan fokus dan komponen teori, prinsip dan kosep saja yang 100% terdapat dalam DKL SMP dan DKL SMA. Komponen lainnya, yaitu komponen objek/peristiwa, catatan/transformasi dan klaim pengetahuan keberadaannya berkisar antara 33,33%-66,67% pada DKL SMP dan 76,19% pada DKL SMA. DKL SMA mempunyai persentase keberadaan dan skor diagram Vee yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan DKL SMP, namun keduanya belum dapat memfasilitasi proses transformasi. Keberadaan fakta dan proses transformasi pada DKL SMP dan DKL SMA didominasi oleh skor 2, menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya DKL tersebut kurang memberikan kesempatan kepada pengguna DKL untuk mengolah/mengubah bentuk data secara mandiri guna memberikan makna pada data yang didapatkan. ---------- This study aimed to analyze the structure, the emergence of the facts and the transformation process in the respiratory system design laboratorium activities that uses Vee diagrams (developed Novak & Gowin, 1984) instrument and the emergence of the facts and transformation proces instrument. This study begins by executing Design Activity Laboratory (DLA) of Respiratory System collected from a number of junior high school and senior high schools in the city of Bandung, consisting of 6 DLA junior high school junior and 21 DLA senior high school. After that, the ministry analyzed is using instruments Vee diagram thus be obtained an average total score Vee diagram on DLA junior high school is 8.17 while the DLA senior high school is 10.24. This indicates that the structure of DLA junior high school and DLA senior high school does not meet the ideal criteria according Vee diagram; total score of 18. Of the five components that exist within the Vee diagram on DKL, only components focus question and components theories, principles and concept are 100% contained in DLA junior high school and DLA senior high school. Other components, the component objects/events, record/ transformation and knowledge claim of its existence ranged from 33.33%-66.67% on DLA junior high school and 76.19% on DLA senior high school. DLA Senior High School has a presence percentage Vee diagrams score higher than DLA junior high school, but they have not been able to facilitate the transformation process. The existence of the facts and the transformation process in DLA junior high school and DLA senior high school is dominated by a score of 2, which indicates that in general the DLA less give the opportunity to users DKL to process/change the shape of the data independently in order to give meaning to the data obtained.
