Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Éféktivitas Média Flipchart pikeun Ngaronjatkeun Kamampuh Nulis Sajak”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya suatu media pembelajaran di dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar, pentingnya kegiatan menulis di dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa di dalam menulis sajak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media flipchart di dalam pembelajaran menulis sajak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan pretest and postest design. Media yang digunakan yaitu dengan menerapkan media flipchart pada pembelajaran menulis sajak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Bandung di kelas VII.7. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil belajar menulis sajak siswa kelas VII.7 SMP Negeri 1 Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 34 orang dengan komposisi laki-laki berjumlah 14 orang dan perempuan berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu flipchart dan lembar tes. Pelaksanaan tindakan yang dilakukan telah mengatasi masalah dalam penelitian yaitu mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran flipchart dalam pembelajaran menulis sajak. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) adanya perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sajak antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media flipchart, (2) peningkatan dari hasil uji gain menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan sebelum dengan kemampuan sesudah menggunakan media flipchart, yaitu meningkat dari 11,08 menjadi 15,94 dengan beda 4,85, dan (3) dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh titung (14,69) > ttabél (2,46), hal ini menyatakan bahwa hipotesis kerja (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran flipchart efektif digunakan di dalam pembelajaran menulis sajak. Kata kunci: media flipchart , nulis sajak. This study entitled “Efektivitas Media Flipchart pikeun Ngaronjatkeun Kamampuh Nulis Sajak” was underlain by the importance of learning media in learning and teaching activities, which showed the importance of the writing-activity particularly in a language learning and also certain issues faced by the students in writing verse. This study thus aimed to examine the effectiveness of flipchart media in the learning of writing verse. The method used by this study was the quasi-experiment by applying the pre-test and post-test design. The media used was the media of flipchart in the learning of writing verse. This study was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Bandung (class VII.7). The data source of this study was the results of the learning of writing verse particularly the students of class VII.7 SMP Negeri 1 Bandung with the total number of students was 34 students, consist of 14 male students and 20 female students. Technique used by this study was the technique of test. The instruments used in this study were flipchart and test sheet. Considered actions done has solved the problem of the study which was to examine the effectiveness of flipchart learning media in the learning of writing verse. The results showed that (1) there was differential of students’ skill in writing verse in particular before and after using the flipchart media, (2) the significant improvement of students’ skill through the results of gain test was shown specifically after using the flipchart media, from 11.08 to 15.94 with the distance of 4.85, and (3) through the hypotheses, it showed titung (14.69) > ttabél (2.46), this demonstrated that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the zero hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Hence, flipchart learning media was the effective way to use in the learning of writing verse.
